I have a case I want help with, and I'm looking for legitimate and credible information from any source, so I'm posting here.

Why didn't the David Reimer case work out?
She was the earliest transitioner and still wasn't happy.

Well boys and girls, the cat is out of the bag. All because I ignored the stereotypes about queens.
In my area it's near impossible to meet other gays because of the heavy conservative population. And I'm outwardly straight as far as people are aware so it's not like they're going to find me. So when I encountered a queen on campus, I felt like this person was my only lifeline to any kind of gay culture in my area, and we became friends.
After some texting/chatting and a bit of hanging out, he eventually introduced me to a few other like-minded people, the majority of which were also queens. But remember from my point of view I had no personal experience to judge these people, only internet and TV stereotypes. It was nice to be able to let my guard down some and accept who I am with other people.
Over the next few months I would be in and out of relationships with a few of them. It always seemed to be the same; lots of sex and physicality, but never much substance. Over time this led to its share of jealousy issues between them, which should have been my first clue to step out, but it was difficult given the circumstances.
When they couldn't settle their differences between themselves, I became the wedge. They took turns trying to turn me against the other, which escalated over time to them lying to each other that I was still sleeping with them. This led to them actually trying to sleep with me to make the other mad. Lots of fake affection and outright groping.
But jealousy is ugly, and that brought ultimatums. Threats to not talk to me, to not be my friend, culminating in threats to reveal my sexuality. And that's basically what happened. Three of them arguing out loud in the cafeteria finally fucked me. I wasn't even there, I heard about it later. Called to the dean's office about it and everything. Tried to deny it, but I knew he knew the truth.
Now I'm in the rumor mill and think I should just change schools next year. Fuck this.

I'm actually attracted to a more feminine kind of guy, just maybe not with the flamboyant element. This was the closest thing. And the sex was still pretty good.

Recently my life has changed dramatically for the better. No, I did not get a better job, nor did I finally get married to that special someone. I did not just move into my first house. What happened is I bought a bidet and now my butt is cleaner than ever. To be specific I purchased Luxe Bidet Neo 120 on amazon.
A bidet to put it simply is a what should clean your rear end after the food you ate exits your body. Instead of toilet paper a bidet shoots a stream of water in order to clean your butt. If you had mud on your driveway would you rather wipe it off with newspaper or take out the pressure washer?
The idea of using a bidet may be foreign to many Americans but it the norm in many countries. Did you know that 97% of homes in Italy have a bidet? Other European countries and Japan also has a very high rate of bidet use.

I've always wanted one but all the add-on ones for normal toilets have bad reviews and seem flimsy, and homes in america rarely have permanent ones installed. I don't own my home so I can't install a permanent one.

Yeah Homer's responses were homophobic, that's the point of the episode. Marge was a fag hag, and Lisa was the millennial/gen Xer that didn't care. Each family member was a caricature of how typical straight people reacted to gay people in the 90s.
The homosexuals themselves were exaggerated caricatures for comedic effect whenever the plot needed them to be, like in the steel mill, that said John (the main gay character of the episode) wasn't an exaggerated caricature. He was a 'normal' upstanding Springfield citizen with a log of charisma too.

The only time "Haha, it's funny because that's gay" punchlines were made was for the purpose of causing humorously homophobic responses from Homer.
The episode even ends with the ideal parental reaction from Homer, acceptance. Homer just took a while to get to "it's okay if my son is gay," because he's Homer.
And yeah, I thought the episode was very funny.
On a personal note my mother is a huge Simpsons fan. She'd record every episode on VHS, and really identified with Homer as a blue collar worker. She's a social conservative christian, that was fine with me being gay. And I think I have to credit "Homer's Phobia" with her supportive reaction to me coming out because it was pretty much verbatim to what Homer tells Bart at the end of this episode.
