Firearm sales general
Have any of you ever sold a firearm? How did you go about it and what kind of money did you get? Did you do a trade-in or a private sale? What's a good way of knowing what a gun is worth?
I mean, I see dealers on GunBroker and people on Armslist asking $500+ for a used Glock. Is anyone able to sell their used Glock for that much?
I trafed a gun in once... i regret it every day....

What are you selling, how much do you want, and what state are you in?
What is the best semiauto of WW2 and why is the SVT-40?

There was a gunbroker auction for a VP70Z cerakoted in the Star War Galatic Empire storm trooper camo, the reserve was $2500.
How do the worlds most modern main battle tanks stack up against each other? Are there any clear winners and losers in the field?
Also tank thread in general.
Abrams is a shit
Leopard 2 is ok
Rossiya t-14 stronk number 1
Any tank that can't make it across the parade ground is a loser by default.
>>34608193

Ok in all seriousness the T-14 seems way too good to be true, it will probably be another T-90

So why haven't you spoken to your Dad and told him that you're not happy about it?

Just go ahead and join the rest of the douche bag washouts who couldn't hack it and kill yourself, since you're getting your panties in such a fucking bunch over nothing.
The creation of the Space Corps means the Air Force can at least attempt to try and focus on doing their job well. Its not like the USAF hasn't been in the news nonstop for its fuckups, this helps ease their work load.

>>34607794
They get their planes and blue business suits, that should be enough
I wonder how many /k/ommandos would go infantry in the Space Corps expecting to fight aliens or Russians on the moon t in the next 4 to 8 years only to hate life drinking their own piss in space
Anyway, simple answer to OP's question; USAF is basically around because of future space combat. The Navy, Army and Marines all have their own air power for Earth combat, so the USAF is in a lot of ways redundant. It was their moment, and they are talking about taking that from them. They would probably prefer the money to make their own space infantry
Guys...
Guys.
Tell me about military tugboats
The mainstay of the Russian fleet.
>>34607762

We all need a tug every now and then.

Then tell me with a straight face you don't feel the TUG
We all appreciate firearms history, but which of you actually go beyond LARPing and do reenacting? And if so, which period, timeframe, unit etc.?

VZ58 is inferior and AKM is superior
>>34607465
it's literally the worst ak dosent even take standard issue mags you have to buy special mags/clips for it. don't see why people waste there money on it
What if we took 100 MQ-9 Reaper drones, put half a dozen AMRAAM missiles on each of them, and then had them fly with an E-3 Sentry? Would that be unbreakable air superiority?
>>34607389
it would be expensive is what. What if 50% get shot down.
>>34607389
Surface to air missiles.
Do modern armies need handguns?
>>34607361
no, thats why we give them rifles
>>34607361
Maybe for machine gunners and marksmen who get caught in "oh shit" moments on the rare occasion. Otherwise no.

>Stockholm has withdrawn Saab's Gripen E from a high-profile competition in Belgium, narrowing the field to a choice between the Dassault Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon and Lockheed Martin F-35.
>Announcing the no-bid decision earlier this month, Sweden's FMV defence materiel administration described the new-generation Gripen as "a highly advanced and cost-effective fighter aircraft system that fully meets the operational requirements in the Belgian request for proposal".
>However, it adds that in its request for a government-to-government proposal: "Belgium is also seeking extensive operational support from the delivering nation. This would require a Swedish foreign policy and political mandate that does not exist today. Therefore, Sweden and the FMV choose not to submit an answer to the Belgian request."
>Belgium's ACCaP procurement agency recently requested pricing information linked to a future fighter procurement. This is expected to lead to the acquisition of around 36 aircraft to replace its current 59 Lockheed F-16A/Bs.
>Sweden's decision to withdraw from the Belgian competition came three months after Boeing opted to pull its F/A-18E/F Super Hornet from contention, stating that it did not "see an opportunity to compete on a truly level playing field", due to Brussels' perceived preference for the F-35.

Sorry Saab
So they're willing to provide full support to Brazil across the ocean but Belgium is too hard?
>its a Lockheed bribes the Gov't of Belgium to sell them fighters episode again

Did they bribe Sweden too?
