Thinner, lighter, and handier than the AK. If you got a M1 carbine drunk on vodka and dressed it up in plywood you'd have the Vz. If I was wearing a gun more than shooting it, I'd prefer the Vz, funny mags and evil skelly stock and all. If you get one, I'd recommend fitting a aluminum heat shield in the fore-end.
