I want to have a good chuckle reading your ausitarmy fails and other cringe-worthy moments. I'll start with mine even though I am a bitter civilian:
>run downstairs trying not to crap myself
>slam butt on toilet seat but do not lock door
>mongoloid pug begins scratchng at it and the more I scream the wilder it becomes
>my anus glues shut as I try to scare it by stomping and it manages to push past the door anyway
>as I try to stand up quickly I fumble and slip off to the side of the toilet seat
>knives fall out of pockets
>seat is violently ripped off the toilet
I never knew toile seats cost that much but at least my EDCs didn't chip or anything. Before you ask they are folders.
No takers? Come on lads, I wants a laff.

Women should not be in the military. The only women who work with the military should be nurses, secretaries, phone operators, or in comfort battalions.

Think for a moment, about the fly-by-night, NAVY SEAL, 300 CONFIRMED KILLS, MOLDY LABIA classes that only exist for about a month before moving on to the next town.
Now compare to Appleseed.
>>34930759
>They worth the $60?
yes. if you haven't got any weapons training what so ever, go to one. they will teach you how to "shoot up to 400m." ideally you use a 22 to shoot at 400m targets 25m away. the principles are the same though. there are some appleseeeds that do actually use a 400m range, but it really isn't necessary. just go to one dude. the weekend won't be wasted. you might even make some friends. you know, people you socialize with offline.
I know Israel have strong weapons industry, but who else in this region have weapons industry?
Egypt makes tanks, IFV's, and rifles.
The Saudis had a small arms factory set up for them by the Germans to make g36 rifles, and other small weapons.
Iran has an actually developed weapons industry.
Turkey has an f35 turbine factory, but I don't think they can make anything else. Carnik pistols don't really count.
Lebanon has nothing, Syria has nothing professional, UAE has nothing, Kuwait has nothing, Iraq has nothing, Yemen has nothing, and Oman has nothing. They all import everything.
>>34931454
>UAE has nothing
They have an ammo factory. They used to supply the French ammunition, but they ended up hurting their business instead because they were issuing a batch of out of spec ammo that tended to blow up in their rifles despite it happening low rates

Jordan has their "King Abooboo Military Research & Industry" facility that spits out cool things in small numbers.
Like that automated "Falcon" turret for M1 chassis.
thoughts on the Ruger 9E pistol?
Have yet to have problems with mine. The magazine disconnect is removable if something like that peeves you.
not as accurate as I'd like.
>>34930685
Not calling you a liar, but the vast majority of handgun accuracy issues fall on the owner and how he jives with the gun. Berettas 90 series for example hold a reputation for being musket-tier AND very accurate. Mechanical accuracy in modern handguns is pretty consistent across the board, but if the end user doesn't fit the gun well or learn it's quirks it can still be all over the place.
Last night I drunk ordered a cold steel gladius. I don't know anything about gladiuses or bladed weapons in general. Tell me everything I need to know about swords and knives and shit.
Also is cold steel any good?
>>34930422
you probably paid ~$25 for it
What do you expect?
It's a machete not a sword, don't expect to much. Not a bad machete though
>>34930422
Cold Steel is good quality for the price. You can beat the hell out of them and they'll stay in alright shape.
Suggestion, sharpen it. For whatever reason machetes are sometimes shipped dulled. Thing is, they're covered in a shit ton of packaging so it's hard to stab someone with it while it's in the box.

night time, 21 year old officers on watch.
after this one I bet there's going to be some major training shakeups within the navy. 10 missing means 10 dead, they just haven't dislodged the bodies from the wrecked compartment.
Lets see your Western guns
Top one is a Civil War 1851 Colt Navy in 36 caliber ball. Bottom one is Cimarron Arms Man With No Name 1851 Colt Navy in 38 Special.
How muich of an impact did submarine warfare have on WW2?
What were the most effective ways of countering subs?
Was there ever a fight between two submarines?
What tasks would submarines have in modern wars (besides launching ICBMs)?
Who's generally in the better position when fighting: a submarine or a surface warship?
> What were the most effective ways of countering subs?
Being in a land-locked country.
Switzerland laughs at subs.
Also, when sub sunk a lone ship in the open ocean, did the crew usually rescue the survivors?
Same for when a lone sub got sunk, did the victors send help?
Submarine warfare was the one place Hitler could have had the absolute greatest effect on the war effort and Doenitz was one of the brightest leaders of the German military.
Naturally it became underfunded and Doenitz was somewhat ignored.
