7.62x39 or 5.45x39?
>>34935669
5.56 and .308 you piece of shit.
>>34935669
I pick 9x39
>>34935669
7.62x54r
Just built my first AR 20" with a pencil weight taxon barrel and an SJC TITAN. If it matters I ha e an auto bolt and with Hornsby training ammo I get massive fireballs and gas coming out the side of the bolt. It runs just fine though and ejects out a 45 angle.
The problem is that its all over the place. I shoot 55 gr out of a 1:8 barrel which I read wasn't a problem. At 50 it shoots in foot groups, quarter sized groups or some as big as 6" and at 100 its a good 3 feet.
I have done both one eye closed and both eyes open but I havent had much range time with it
Fuck
>faxon
>have
>hornady
It isn't 3 foot if I think about its still 6"
>>34935555
>New AR
>not having multiple brands of ammo ready to diagnose troubleshooting issues
Try some other ammo first, your barrel could just hate the Hornady bullets.
Slightly off topic: if you're using a 20" upper I hope you have an H or better H2 carbine buffer to more closely replicate the rifle buffer weight and reduce the impact on your bolt carrier group.
>>34935623
Do you have any brands of cheap 55 gr non magnetic? Hornady is literally all ive found for .34/rnd
>H brand ;
Would the Silent Eagle actually have enough features changed and stuff tucked away in bays to be stealthy?
>>34935554
it would be enough for a greatly reduced frontal RCS, but not omnidirectional like the F-22 or F-35. Its fundamentally non-stealthy because the original frame it is based on was never designed with stealth in mind.
>>34935554
It would end up like the PAK-FA. F-15S is probably a decent match for that thing.
Is he /our/ saint /k/? post Marty's that are

honestly tho id rather you not tell people we exist lest we be over run by americans who will try to ruin it
Why don't American cops train to use/carry scimitars or other medium-length bladed weapons, /k/? When I was in Oman, security personnel often carried these types of swords. They provide a close-range lethal force option in situations where stray rounds or noise are undesirable.
A baton is good for subduing, a sword is good for cutting off thief hands. Each has their place in their respective lands.
>>34935465
Because that would be way too cool.
>>34935465
because batons work pretty well against anyone who either is unarmed or has a less-lethal melee weapon. If they have a lethal melee weapon, bullets do just nicely, while keeping the policeman safer.
Illinois as of august 11th 2017 has allowed the carry of automatic knives as long as you have a valid FOID card. This is great news for knife guys ! Post your autos !

Ohiofag here
I have a ccw permit
Father in law gives me a switchblade
A cop friend tells me not to carry it
Mfw I can carry a gun but not a knife
What are some good hard use autos that are not ridiculously overpriced ? The Gerber automatic 06 in G10 has caught my eye, but i hate tanto blades, and they dont seem to make a drop point variant in G10.
I have the one in OP. It's terribly built, shitty quality and assisted are easier and less bulky.
How far can jet and/or rocket engine technology be miniaturized? Does it vary depending on the type of engine (i.e. turbofan, turbojet, ram, scram, etc.)
>>34935435
You are now imagining a gun with 3 stage cartridges, propellant, jet, and scramjet.
Brought to you by NeverEver Corp.

Anyone else really enjoy the aesthetic of the A2 pattern of the M16 rifle?
Recently came across this video again
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMi2AEbmfK0
and made me want to spend more time on my A2 working on better groups.
I plan on build essintial an a2, but with an a1 upper, pencil barrel, and a1 buttstock
>>34936119
>but with an a1 upper, pencil barrel, and a1 buttstock
...so an A1..
Call me a faggot, but I actually like the A2 LMG's A E S T H E T I C.
What's the end goal?
>>34935366
drain all resources until the apocalypse.
>>34935366
>end
>>34935461
what gun is that?
What were they aiming for?
I mean literally
>>34935266
greedy hook noses, hopefully
Glock Perfection
>>34935248
Looks alright to me senpai
Those are some shitty-ass fake nails yo.
Literally needs nothing
Is it possible that maybe we grade AK production a little too hard? I mean some of these torture tests are beyond insane. Just asking.
>>34935239
no, it is sad when the standard is a high quality AK is literally Russian or Chinese military spec. You see the videos of AKOU and Iraqveteran888, that is what an AK is supposed to do but for some reason American craftsmen can't do what combloc nations have been doing for 70 plus years
>>34935288
>American craftsmen can't do what combloc nations have been doing for 70 plus years
They can totally do it but they cut corners so they can keep the cost low for the retarded casual gun owner.
>>34935239
I smell an I.O employee...
I've got and idea for a cheap as fuck LMG concept.
>slidefire stock
>light trigger
>have multiple uppers as QCB.
How well would this work?
>>34935233
sexy snek. also they make belt fed uppers for ars ya know
remove snek
ayy go away
vigilo confido
>>34935233
Google "bumpsaw," they work far better than you would think.
I'm saving for a belt fed upper, planning on experimenting with binary triggers to accomplish the same thing in a better manner.
Also more snek plz
>go to range
>everyone and his mom is a wannabe sniper with a Ruger Precision Rifle
>>34935210
Yeah? Well what rifle do you use for long range targets? Bet you are noguns
As opposed to showing up with a Hi Point and mag dumping it? Getting gud at marksmanship is fun, anon.
>>34935210
what's so bad about it ?
