I don't have a problem having my rifle on me for a 10 mile hike (Vepr AK-47) but I do have trouble keeping the gun up for a few minutes while shooting. I have to take breaks between magazines. I should definitely work out. I'm 6'2" and weigh 143 pounds. I have difficulty gaining weight.

either way eat more and start lifting heavy things. buy dumbbells, a barbell and weights, and a pullup bar if you want to do a baseline minimum without leaving your house or spending too much money.

They fucking work wonders if you struggle with school, but they significantly modify your personality, increase your heart rate and blood pressure, and generally do bad things to your mental state. Whenever I was off XRs I could barely get out of bed and felt like I had taken a handfull of sedatives. It's bad stuff.

Also if I did not maintain my blood sugar via eating regularly (you literally forget to eat) I would have paranoia attacks and hallucinate voices.

it depends what you mean by nutrition. if you mean a bodybuilder's diet, that's not what i do. if you mean nutrition aimed at longevity, that's what i do. glucose is produced by the body and there is no reason to eat carbs other than vegetables and fruit for their micronutrients. a diet consisting of 70-80% fat and the remainder divided between carbs and protein is ideal for longevity. high blood sugar is the most reliable predictor for chronic disease and inflammation, which is what causes you to die. also, cancer feeds on sugar. starvation is one of the most reliable ways to defeat cancer, but it can also kill you. that's what a high fat diet is for. you starve cancer, bad bacteria in the gut, and reduce inflammation dramatically while actually eating food. all the benefits of fasting without fasting.

so you see, nutrition is more than building muscle. the longest living people are rarely bodybuilders. high consumption of protein for building and maintaining an exceptionally muscular body triggers the production of m-tor, which greatly increases the risk for cancer.

You're comparing apples and chubsters.

If you want to lose fat, do cardio and drink a lot of water. Weighst will also help/

If you just want a little tone and definition, bodyweight will usually be fine.

If you want to get bigger and add muscle mass, you have to eat more and lift somewhat heavy stuff.
BUT - you can get really good results with just a surplus duffle bag filled with 80 or so pounds of sand.
Add a free used tire and a tow strap for full beast mode.
Plenty of vids on YT will show you how if you can't figure it out. I even have a couple on there.
