Help me out /k/
My wife wanted to shoot with me more often and maybe get into practical competition shooting in the future.

She was so excited, but then I took her to the range and she literally can't fire it without a FTE/stovepipe happening almost every time. We couldn't fix her technique, nothing worked. It looks like she's doing everything right. She got really frustrated by the experience.
I know it's her pathetic girly grip strength because I can't get the gun to fail unless I grip one handed with two fingers and TRY to make it malfunction.
How the fuck do I fix this short term? I know it would be "best" to have her practice more until the problem goes away, but I'm afraid she will just get discouraged before that happens and lose all enthusiasm.
Is there something I can swap out in the meantime to reduce this issue? Heavier guide rod to add weight to the frame? I'd think a reduced weight recoil spring would also work, but there aren't many options for a G19 gen 4 for some reason.

Glocks fail most often with light ammo.

I think you answered your own question here.
You need to really micromanage her grip until she can relax and get it to not malfunction. I'm truly baffled that a soft grip by itself could cause it to misfire, and almost find it hard to believe.

Put 100-200 rounds of 147gr +P through it. My new gen 4 was a little stiff, now it's fine

I used to carry one.
They're dead-ass reliable and cheeki breeki af. 9x18 is basically a marginally more powerful .380. The only complaint I have about them is the magazine capacity leaves something to be desired. I switched to a Bersa thunder plus. Same size as a makarov but with a 16 round capacity.
Bulgy Mak is a great poorfag carry gun.

I know nothing about ballistic, so let me ask this: Wearing a class IIIA body armor and being shot with a big-bore, moderate-velocity cartridge (like a P+ .45-70 or .457 WWM) at 200 yard, how would it be? Will the cartridge punch through, or will it be stopped? And if the latter is true, will the force of the bullet still enough to cause a concussion?
