Mk2's have been in service for awhile now, block II has an aesthetic to it that some like, same as block I. MARSOC uses what the specific operator requests on occasion, but its not very often you see keymod in SOPMOD issued units.

It's not /arg/'s fault that an industry based on actual results chose a system that works for their specific tasks.

my T91 upper arrives Monday. in the meantime i'm tweaking up the lower to better match. i made the knurled lock nut, and cut the flange off the plastic CAR stock so it smoothly matches up with the nut and the receiver. just need to anodize or paint it black and i'm in business.

Keymod isn't a gimmick. Its a functioning, efficient method of attachment.
Its just not as strong as MLOK according to some testing. That doesn't mean it doesn't work well. Because it does.
