I "patched" it from the patch given by Lenovo, but that's all that it's worth. It's like putting a bandaid on an open wound - just superficial.
I really should bite the bullet and go with coreboot and wipe ME, but three things so far are holding me back: the hardware required, the fact that there appears to be an existing issue with wiping ME that causes slow boot, and the fact Coreboot doesn't support the USB 3.0 chipset (I have an i7 X220).

So, /g/, my professor just lowered my mark on a home assignment because he thinks I copied the code from somewhere or someone else.
How do I convince him I did it myself?

Give it back, Tyrone.

Some background:
The assignment was to get the original number dialed from a DTMF tone sequence, in MATLAB. It did not have to be automatic, you could separate each tone manually and extract the frequencies from the fft graph manually, but I made it fully automatic

what happens to those who have over 30TB stored already?

It's probably because of those autists from /r/datahoarders who took way too much advantage of amazon's unlimited storage. Just the 1% or so of super heavy users was probably killing their profit margins.

rip Ian Murdock edition

You know the drill:
-post your small tech support questions HERE, don't create a thread for them

-don't just bump the thread, most people look for posts without replies

-take at least 10 seconds checking your problem with a search engine

>but can microsoft still sell my data if I dont format the HDD first?
You'll have to format anyway if your planning on replacing Windows. But even if dualboot, Microsoft can't access your data while running Linux

besides, Microsoft isn't actually the problem. It's your CPU. The Goverment has placed an hardware backdoor in every CPU since i-series. AMD is no better there

10nm Cannonlake on the desktop: CANCELLED
10nm Cannonlake server parts: TOTALLY STRICKEN FROM ALL ROADMAPS
14nm Coffee Lake: 2018

The only 10nm Cannonlake chips we'll see are low power mobile parts because the process has horrible yields and no PR spin will hide it. They cancelled a completely finished product line to buy more time to fix their troubled foundry issues.
