I always had shit calves until I got a job as a mailman, which has 10 miles+ walking daily with lots of hills and stairs. My calves are fucking jacked and vascular now.

Dude get a bicycle and some clipless pedals, your calves will thank you. I'm DYEL as fuck but still got calves due to commuting with a fixie. Also the constant movement really got my ankle flexibility up so I can squat deep like a motherfucker. Also with clipless pedals you can hammer the tibialis anterior as well which is good since you want to stress the antagonist muscle as well to get the most out the calf.
