Of course you did if you thought it would make you big or strong.
Calisthenics was never meant for those goals. Its for developing bodyweight skills, which are awesome, but they aren't really compatible with getting big and strong.
i started working out mainly to lose weight cuz i was a disgustingly fat fuck at the beginning of the year. in 5 months i've lost ~40kg in fat and gained a shit ton of muscle.
not sure what the hell you're doing wrong but you are definitely doing something wrong.
1hr workout every day, alternating between strength and cardio with 1 day of rest every week. eating veggies and lots of chicken breast and that's it. no secret, no bullshit... just workout and diet. i've become a beast of a man.
What are your favorite ab excersises /fit/?

What is wrong with him? I cant put my finger on it. Its just weird
that skin tone is unlocked when you bench 2pl8 after 10 years
How much could Michael bench?
>>41532495
maybe 1/2 plate if he a lot of effort into it
if you recall he tells jim he lifted to tone, not strength.
if i remember correctly there is an episode where pam says michael told her he could bench 180lbs or something like that.
Aren't muscle-ups basically just pull-ups combined with dips? why do so many people proficient in both individual movements have such a hard time combining them?
since weighted pullups are good for building biceps, forearms, and lats, and dips are good for building triceps and chest, can you make a routine out of muscle-ups, deadlifts and farmer walks, with a few extra accessory lifts for shoulders and abs?
>>41532326
>pullups are good for building biceps, forearms
muscle ups is just balancing yourself hard enough over the bar, it's litteraly just a meme
muscle-ups are "crossfit pullups" and dips
by crossfit pullups I mean this (9m34s)

>>41532420
those are kipping pull-ups, what's stopping you from doing slow, controlled movements and slow negatives with muscle-ups?
So /fit/? How do we focus on self-improvement? I for one have started meditating and masturbating less and am looking for other ways to get godmode.

Anyone have any tips to push past social fuck ups. It's getting hard. I've been pushing myself to be more social but the more I do it the more I fuck up and think I'm being autistic. I think I'm going to end up on one of the cringe videos. This life is starting to become a living hell worrying about this shit. I'm about one more faux pas from blowing my brains out.

Learn to love the pain. When youre in the gym the pain means growth. The same goes for this and life in general. Youve already put in time and effort don't stop now. Everything up to this point would have been for nothing.
Ive been reading more daily. I read about 1-3 hours a day as well as downloading audio books to play in the car. I also have been working on self reflection and discipline. I do something each day ill hate. I also have been writing down a hourly journal on what i do each day to maximize time doing stuff and get rid of the time wasting.

As someone who used to be pretty fucking socially awkward to being called 'cool', I think the best way to be socially acceptable is to keep practicing - practice makes perfect, and that rule applies to pretty much everything you want to improve on.
I may be talking out of my ass since I'm not a psychologist, but being socially acceptable comes from 3 rules I belive in:
>a good first impression
>respect
>responding to the social environment you're in
The first & second rule can boil down to simple shit like where your from, your voice, body, how you carry yourself, & even materialistic things like your clothes, car, money, etc.
Lemme explain that third rule: social shit is always about responding to the social environment - so you always have to be constantly aware of who is in the room - for example, I will try to respond differently to social cues in a room full of 6 18 year old girls compared to as if I was in a room alone with the president of the United States.
I'm not saying act like a different person & adapt multiple personalities - but you definitely need to act different in different situations.
Lemme know if this makes sense
>see guy with skinny arms
>immediately want to beat the shit out of him
has anyone else become aggressive towards armlets since becoming hueg? i don't even know why they piss me off this much, they're just pathetic and i want to break their arms like twigs
/mentalillness/ general?
what would you do if you saw me and my 5.5 inch wrists? i'm 6'6.5 btw
>>41531865
4chan is /mentalillness/ general you armlet
Should powerlifting be classed as a mental illness?
>Tfw u become a fat disgusting blob and still will always get outturtled by the one and only
>be skinny
>have girls swarming you
>be fat
>have dudes mires
really makes you think if lifting is worth it. also that face loss
>powerlifting
>strength
Anyone know how much these guys get for "sponsorships"? Neither of them have day jobs and seem to just live of their BPI nutrition sponsorship or whatever it is to shill products.

How do we fix fat people?
Should we start banning calorie dense addictive foods?
Post yfw booger is going to die soon.

You can't, they need to want to fix themselves.
Or camps, mandatory fat-camps
>>41530786
Force fat people into training camps and stop handing welfare to fat people, instead put the money into the camps. Seriously all it takes is half a year of cardio and proper dieting to loose 100 pounds

I got a tub of this whey, don't like drinking it desu.
How can I cook with it? Anyone got some normal, non-meme recipes? Everything I find online has stupid shit in it, I just want a simple way to cook this shit into something nice
Pancakes. Some are as simple as eggs and whey.
>>41530494
I don't like drinking it either. Blend it with smoothies etc. Get creative anon or you ain't gonna make it.
What flavor did you get?
I love beer.
Like, I really really fucking love beer. Of all the tings in the world that you can put in your mouth and then swallow, beer is my favorite.
How do you become and stay fit without giving up beer? Is beer belly real or is it a myth? I don't drink much during the week, but on weekend my consumption of beer can sometimes get out of hand.
>>41529475
It's a shame but I think unless you're doing ridiculous amounts of cardio, it just ends up being a lot of empty carbs and calories. You really gotta earn your beers when you work out if you wanna keep drinking them.
>>41529475
As long as you aren't drinking enough beer to pass out every weekend, then don't let your fit life put you off from having a few cheeky bevs with the lads
