Been lifting for a couple of months now and at 220lbs deadlifts now. Problem is that I lose grip/the bar starts slipping away at this weight. Now I feel like it's way too early to switch to hook/mixed grip already. Any tips on improving my grip, especially for deadlifting?

live a life of manual labor, as in, to do anything you have to manually work for it. eat a very clean diet. do calisthenic a lot because there's fucking nothing else to do but work and sleep. run a lot because how the fuck else you gunna get anywhere. have test levels not fucked over by the post industrial world. and they did have workout equipment. carving rocks to have handles as sort of cave-man kettle balls was common because stone working tools were common and big fucking heavy rocks were even more common.

This machine at my gym which essentially lets you do preacher curls but you add the weights via pl8s.
It gives the visual impression that you are curling a lot of weight but not really because of the leverages.

Girl having fat biceps/triceps is a biggest turnoff for me. Like, its my pet peeve.

Having lean arms with some muscular definition is preferred, but mostly you just have to be satisfied with simply skinny arms

Is it worth it to go to prison?

Would sacrificing a year of your life be worth the gains?

Pros:

Free food
Free Weights
Nothing else to do so good motivation


Cons:

Lack of personal space
Lose social life outside of prison

Real Talk.
I'm a faggot and I like to get fucked in the ass.
I like leg day.
I do not want to be buff; buff is fun to suck the dick of but I'd feel horrible being it.
I have no idea what to do for fitness except for leg day shit.
All the resources for exercises are for becoming V figure, top heavy body builder.
But I was born with girly hips and I love my big ass
and so do all the boys when they smash their fat cocks into it.
So I would rather be pear or hourglass shape.

I have no resources for this.
I need to do some lifting to be functional, because while my lower body is awesome, my upper body is in pain cause it doesn't get much attention.

So what do I do to make sure I'm fit all over while keeping my submissive fuckslut frame?

Rdl/sldl and pendulum quadruped kickbacks as accessories

Do random glute isolations like cable leg kickbacks and random meme exercises

Novice glutes can be overloaded 3x a week, and trained 5-7x
Intermediate can be overloaded 2x a week and trained 4-6x

I mean... you're basically worrying about the same shit that beginner lifters worry about. Getting "too buff" and all that. It takes a long time to get shredded, and if you ever get to a point where you feel like you /are/ getting too muscular, its easy to just stop working out and get back to a place that you like more.

Since you are a dude though, you're probably going to get to a point where you need to decide whether you want functional strength or the twink look. Especially at low BF%, your muscle will start to show at a point, and you'll need to decide which is more important to you.

You can probably make up for gaining some muscle by taking good care of your skin and all the other shit that trappy twinks do. Im a straight(ish) dude so I cant help you there, but there are infographs and shit floating around about that sort of thing.

This happens to me quite a lot actually. When I see horribly out of shape people, i tend to stare at them. They usually end up assuming i'm checking them out and give me some kind of disgusting flirty body language.

Went out to go walk around the neighborhood. I came across a girl whom I spoke to in college. I hadn't seen her in maybe three or four years. I approached her and she didn't recognize who I was. I broke the ice by saying, "is that a husky?" (in reference to the dog she was walking). She seem to want to avoid me. Then she said, "Sorry, I didn't hear you because I was on the phone". I asked her, "You don't recognize me?". She seem confused. I told her "<insert college here>, Art History class". I think she remembered then. I then went back to her dog and said "new dog?" as I was petting her dog. She said, "Yeah it's a new dog". I replied, "still a puppy?". She said "Yeah, she's a puppy". Then she ends the conversation by saying, "Well it was nice seeing you again" and smiled at me. I took this as she wants to end the conversation and leave. I said "Yeah", turned around and walked my path.

Seems like lifting and self improvement didn't do shit. Such is life. Anyways, gonna go try out the new meditation cushion I got from Amazon, and meditate for 15 minutes to clear my mind.

Hi /fit/ just a quick question about kinda conflicting information.

Currently my TDEE is 3,611 (I'm large with a job that is like kinda sedentary but not 100%)

Some articles I read say to cut 500 calories a day via diet and exercise while others say 1000 or even 1500.

I am just starting on the road to losing weight and I don't want to do too much too quickly since I've heard that is bad.

So what is the number I should be looking at?

Would an elliptical machine be acceptable for cardio? I'm a complete shut-in so stepping outside for a run isn't something I'm ever going to do, but I need a way to get cardio in during the day.
I'm considering it over a treadmill because if/when I move and get stuck in a non-ground-floor apartment again I won't be thumping on the ceiling on my neighbor all fuckin day
