What happens if someone tries to make their on routine? What does one have to keep in mind if they try to make a routine?

Has anyone on /fit/ actually made it with a routine they came up with?

I was thinking about just doing SS and then move on from there, but cant afford making a home gym, and due to shit going on in my country I cant just go out to a gym. Kinda dangerous to go out.

So its either save to buy equipment, wich is gonna take some time; do a calisthenics routine, or make my own. Wanted to try the last one.

Ideas, sugestions? Should I just wait, or find an alredy stablished routine? Only shit I have found so far is this, but seems meme tier.

Generally speaking, they fuck up a lot.
You should use a proven beginner program to start with, stick with that for a year or so, while educating yourself on the subject. Then once you've made some decent progress you can start to think about screwing around with the routine.

Low volume + high intensity + rest pause is the key to swoleness. Three days on / One day off rotation.

Do just enough to keep the gainz coming, no need to do tons of sets. The real work is done during recovery. Destroying too much tissue is counterproductive.

I don't fault you for being ignorant, belief in Broscience is hard to overcome. I used to be a follower of Broscience, but several years ago I saw the light and decided to read books on physiology. When I learned about DC training / rest pause / HIT, it changed everything for me.

DC/HIT is garbage, literally every single study conducted on single set vs multiple set training protocols clearly demonstrates that more volume (assuming you can recover from it) is superior

It's not easy and it takes years, years and more years.
You're not talking about just working out. You're talking about making your hands through microchanges rip apart and repair.
The change will be minimal at best, but yes. You can do this.
I do not wear the ring size I had when I was 24, 28 now and I had to go up two ring sizes.

Did it through working out, playing piano, and using those guitar finger crunch devices.
Anything that has muscle can grow.

Why would your body inevitably lose weight (mass) by putting it in a caloric deficit?

Conservation of mass and conservation of energy are different things.

If you eat a bunch of low calory food (like several pounds of lettuce) it is perfectly possible to gain weight while being in a caloric deficit, without breaking any laws of thermodynamics.

Also what about the whole "CALORIES" business. Calories in food labels are measures of the heat produced when that food is blown up. Our bodies don't deal with food that way, so wtf? Our bodies dont burn the food we eat like that, so of what use is the information about calories in food labels anyway?

Stop telling fat people to count calories, it's unscientific nonsense.
