So I just found out my dorm has a kitchen.
Easiest (and cheapest) meals to prep for college life?
>>42184719
pre-cooked chicken that comes in the bags
rice + lentils
str8 broccoli or spinach
takes almost no effort
>>42184757
wtf? no precooked meat.
chicken takes 15 min max to prepare and tastes much better if you do it yourself.
plus: you will unlock cooking-gains which will help to get pussy

I am not saying doing two workouts all the time.maybe doing one work out a day for a week and they switching it up and doing 2 workouts for week.
Thoughts?
>>42184430
T.nojob
i actually do that right now, 3 times a week. reason is that i really only can workout in the early morning / late evening due to the summer heat, and that i have to shower 2 times a day anyway, before work and at the end of the day.
and i find it easier endurance-wise, because that really is a problem right now with my usual hour long workout, can barely finish bc temperatures
>>42184540
forgot, right now im using about 40 min per workout, so 80min total 3x. Before that i did 4x/week for an hour, so overall no change in volume. i do need more time to warmup etc. Also i have a home gym.

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/07/18/is-the-president-fit-215385
what an embarrassment :(
i bet the trump presidency encourages more obesity and furthers our health epidemic. honestly fit is all talk when it comes to resisting the health problems facing our nation. they'll post in FPH threads but then turn around and elect a fat slob who's making fast food "counter-culture" and "acceptable".
pic related- our commander in chief using his scooter while all the normal people walk.
sad.
I'll take a flabby 70 year old man over a women that has to be carried into cars any day of the week.
>>42184477
clinton takes leisurely strolls through forests while the president uses his fat guy scooters on golf courses, even on greens (which is generally not allowed).
yeah you totally made the right choice there lol.

is this a good post-workout meal?
>sardines
>brie
>sweet potato and butter
>creatine
please respond
>>42184178
Ditch the butter use olive oil
Brie is very fat? Do you need to gain weight? If yes good
>>42186243
butter tastes better
>implying dietary fat = body fat
So I finished my workout and already had a pound of greek yogurt.
Now what's the best timing to have a can of tuna?
I'm below poverty level and can't afford chicken breast every day... or even more than twice a week.
Most of my monthly cheque go on greek yogurt, canned tuna and whatever I can squeeze in - chicken.
Is it cool to have canned tuna like 30 minutes after workout or is it too soon? Do you have to wait like 2 hours to have a meal?
>>42184160
*whenever I can afford IGA bbq chicken
>if you want to get girls you have to lift we....

Nobody says you have to lift weights, just look good.

I say that. I say it all the time.
So I read that you apparently need to eat more calories than normal just to MAINTAIN your muscles, not just bulk. How much should that be though? I guess it's going to depend on how much muscle you have, but how many calories on average does a bodybuilder eat just to maintain his mass for example?
It depends hugely on how much you weigh and how active you are. There is literally no point in trying to give an "average" or anything because it doesn't apply to anything.
If you want a big body like 200+lbs with a lot of muscle, you will be looking at 3500kcal daily to maintain if you are moderately active.
If you are massive, then yeah you're gonna be eating alot but I still don't think you'd have to be in a surplus to maintain it. You can preserve lean muscle by elevating growth hormone and heat shock protein. Which can both be done through lifting, sitting in the sauna regularly and compressing your eating window. There's alot to it obviously, and I'm not a nutritionist but I did mess around with a compressed eating window/caloric deficit for something like three months strait. My gains in strength did eventually stall, but I actually got stronger while in a deficit for the first couple of months. I was small though. I dropped like fifteen pounds and was shredded at one thirty five. I'm interested to see how the same experiment would go for someone older and at the end of their mass/strength gaining journey and just wanting to maintain.
Well it depends
if you train your metabolism, you can maintain a 250lb body on less than 1000kcal a day.
On the other hand if your metabolism gets out of control you can eat over 3000kcal and still weigh under 150lbs, this is the typical "hardgainer" bodytype you see on naturally skinny guys
Recently found out i have uneven pecs due to a few weird ribs on my left side. I know no one else will ever notice it but i'll always know
hahah well at least you have pecs bro

Drop the bar on your head during bench maybe you'll forget that your body is fucked.
Is there seriously nothing i can do?
I'm asking for a friend

ANOTHER
I did this once to some guy.
He was squatting 1 plate. I did OHP to emasculate him. Never saw him at the gym ever again after that.

So /fit/, I've been dieting, exercising for the past month. I'm 5'8 and 185 ( Down from 225 In April ), now the results are very visible and I look a lot better especially In the arm, back, and trap area ( always my natural strong points ) however my stomach fat has not decreased substantially.
The fat itself has more recently gotten "softer" I guess, It used to be hard fat, not sure what I should expect from that, If anything. Currently my waist Is 45 inches when measured from my upper hip bone, however below the navel and above the groin I measure at 34 inches. Obviously that's an issue, and I have lost inches off of my waist as It Is, but I would like to get my stomach In check soon rather than later. Any input on that? And If anyone knows what I'm talking about In terms of the change Is my stomach fats texture, and hardness I'd love to know what you think.
>>42183876
You're not special, just keep dieting if you want to keep losing fat.
stomach fat is gonna come off last. you've probably still got 40 pounds to cut before you're where you want to be.
Yeah, i can confirm what other posters told you. I am 165cm, 2 years ago i was 97, now i am 65kg. Stomach fat is the last one you lose. And it left me some saggy skin on my abdomen. Ugly as fuck, but still better of me being fat. I run four times a week, about 12 km each session. Twice a week i lift. Btw i found useful the ab-roll. It's cheap and it's good for my abs
How do I fix this? Sumos? Front squats?
Check out AthleanX channel, I'm sure he has a video about it
a big part of it is increasing your core strength and stretching properly.
