I was thinking of dying the tips of my hair silver (pic unrelated). My hair is decently long and I think it would look pretty cool, how would I go about it?

I like it, but it's not for everyone. I dye mine so it's royal blue for a bit and eventually fades to a silvery color. Again, depends on your aesthetic. And be ready to shave your head if it comes out poorly.

For silver, I'd bleach, then use toner to make your hair white and use a silver process (again, I use loreal smoky blue) and leave that in for 20 or 30 minutes on the white. How long you should leave the bleach/toner in depends on your natural color.

I wanted to bleach my hair to start the year differently, but lately i've been having doubts because it seems overdone lately, specially with those horrid football players doing it. I saw OP pic in one thread and i thought it looks fantastic on him, so maybe considering other color? Maybe one subtle one like his, not tha bright?
