I never really got into drinking tea. As someone who has to get rid of the soda addiction, I thought about drinking tea as a routine. Can someone tell me about it effects, what's the best tea and general advices? I have no idea
>>8996235
There's no real reason to stop drinking soda. I mean, if you buy the absolute cheapest bulk case of tea you an find maybe you'll save some money but that would probably be not fun.

You're trying too hard with that bait

People say green tea is the best. Personally I like chai more than anything, even if it's a meme tea. Also, what am I supposed to do with my teabags after I make a cup?? Just throw them out? Or put them in water and let them sit for awhile?
Post recommendations for both soft and hard cheeses, and please no amerifat plastic "cheese". describe aroma, mouthfeel, and what is a good pairing for it.
love me some 'dar or some 'can cheese
For me, it's kraft singles on white bread with a slice of bologna and some miracle whip. Wash it down with a nice tall glass of whole milk.

Recommend me some good cheeses for an Amerilard like me.
What does /ck/ think of dutch babies? I've never tried them but they sound pretty easy to make. Worth?

I ran brunch at a fine dining restaurant for a year that we served a dutch pancake. Just getting the heat right and using enough fat to lubricate the pan is the key.
We served them is lardons (thick bacon bits slowly rendered),whatever seasonal fruit( which is strawberries right now, black berries in a couple weeks) and then maple syrup and some powdered sugar. Shits really nice if you do it right. Getting it to poof up properly is the hard part obv. Its best to use a blender to make the batter and make sure its smooth AF.
don't eat carbs and fat together.

Also, I found that the hotter the oven the better the results for when I was firing them at work. Like 450+. I one time ran a service with the oven at 500 and my dutch pancakes would poof up MASSIVELY and it was awesome.
So what the fuck did I cook just now?

My American girlfriend is coming to visit next month, and she's offered to buy a bunch of different American foods for me. Keeping in mind the rules for bringing foods by plane, what would be uniquely american that is not available in other countrys?
Apologies for bad English.

if you live in western europe, theres almost nothing.
only thing i can think of would be mexican ingredients:
>dry chilies, tomatillos...
those are expensive as fuck in europe
Maybe some sodas (from the airport after the checkpoint, lolTSA) so you can compare HFCS against real sugar

Frog legs, or frog meat in general looks like it'd really be tender and juicy and I'm curious about the flavour.

If you can't crack an egg with one hand, you don't know shit about cooking.
does it count if I have to hit it against the edge of my pan?
It takes like 1 carton of eggs max to aquire this "skill"
You still don't know shit about cooking if you think cracking an egg is all that
I can crack four at a time, two in each hand, intact yolks, no shell shards.
Working breakfast backline at McDonald's when you were a kid has it's perks.
