Pasta is cheap as fuck if you don't put mince/meat into it.

Why is Burger King so hated? Is it because they were too similar to McDonalds but lost footing in terms of advertisement, while other franchises had their own niche (Wendy's presenting themselves as mature, Taco Bell presenting themselves as different and hip) ?

They have bad consistency. But when they're good...

The whopper was their one-hit wonder. But what a hit it is.
A Whopper w/ cheese and bacon, fries and drink is 9 goddamn dollars.
And litrally, just, use literally all the time for no reason.

At least you were not forced to watch his daughter shit up a chilli recipe because she just (((wrote))) a cookbook about daddies recipes.

I'd kill myself if my daughter did something like this
Literally the most awkward cooking demo I've ever seen. Hopefully she doesn't make another TV appearance until she learns to demo a dish.
>American cooking show
>"Now we're going to add some kosher salt"
What the fuck is your deal with this?

What does michelin star food taste like? How does it compare to more expensive chain resturants like Olive garden, red lobster, ect? How does it compare to the typical foods we poor people eat?
Imagine food so good it's worth driving thousands of kilometers to have. That's what michelin star food tastes like.
>>9079830
Tastes and looks a few inches longer after they fuck you up the ass with the bill
what the fuck does Michelin have to do with food?
Why is this thing so disappointing? I just picked one up today because it was "weird and exotic" so I was like why the fuck not it'll probably taste interesting too, but all it tasted like was a depressed kiwi. This shit tasted like a fruit that shouldn't be, like it never tried. Why was this the only exotic fruit they provided and who in their right mind would actually buy this besides as a product of impulse and curiosity
I soaked it in sugar, salt, and lime after one bite of it and it did taste much better like that so there's I guess some hope for it but I would rather just buy a kiwi

What the fuck did you expect from a cactus?

Dragon Fruit is the only fruit I'm allergic too. It's delicious but it fucks my shit up so I can't consume it. How I got allergic to a rare fruit I have no fucking idea.

They're refreshing if they're cold and it's hot outside, I don't mind them in that situation. But the purple ones are sweeter and have more flavor in my experience.
Could I get some better sriracha sauce alternatives?
I'm sick of living in the meme bubble.
Gochujang I think it's called, it's a Korean pepper paste. Savoury/spicy kinda deal.

Cretin.
Ketchup.
>2017, the year of our Lord
>Still uses a microwave
Are you a juggalo?
I didn't own one for several years mostly because I didn't have counter space. Ended up improving my cooking skills as a result.
It's weird how people are so shocked at the idea of someone not owning a microwave.
>Cook goes on chopped
>uses microwave for a specific thing
>wins
welp
My mother sent me this article and said 'no more coconut'. Got mad, saw red for 20 mins straight. Only thing i could think of was how to prove her wrong. Took my shirt off n lathered myself up head to toe while lightly beating my chest as i uttered the phrase 'its just part and parcel' over and over again under my breath. Cant remember what happened next but i woke up on the kitchen floor clutching my stash like they were my children
So is this stuff actually bad for us or not?

Of course. What adult doesn't?
>>9103599
Checked. I know how to use them myself, but I know a few adults who don't. I guess they didn't grow up eating much Chinese or Japanese stuff. Really changed the way I saw one of my friends when I found out he doesn't know how to use chopsticks.
At one of my old jobs I used to work with a bunch of Asians, one of them bought everyone in the factory a set of chop sticks each. Funny thing was that she didn't even know how to use chop sticks, we sat around the lunch room with a bunch of white people teaching an Asian that just gave us chop sticks how to use chop sticks.
>show about food cultures
>wastes over 60% of episode on political propaganda
Why do US food&cooking shows do this?
>>9095803
>on CNN
what did you expect?
also bourdain is cuckoo liberal who loves talking about how much better and smarter he is
>>9095803
He lost his way. Dude was supposed to be the Hemingway or Hunter S. of food. Now he only has his team find some hipster food joint and expand on anything ironic he can dig up during his week in town.
No Reservations was great though.
