I don't think traditional means nonsense from the 20th Century.
>>9108129
Hello obsessed yuro, no, that is not traditional. In fact, even a cursory glance at American dessert traditions would show a number of cakes, pies, small baked goods, breads, jams, etc. etc. etc., but you don't really care because you're just getting your daily fix of American obsession.
Is it okay to make wine based pan sauces in my cast iron? I've heard acid and cast iron do not mix but I feel like it isn't a big deal as long as I clean up right when i'm finished eating
>pic unrelated
>Also cast iron general
it isn't a big deal. don't like make a beurre blanc reduction in it but a quick deglaze and mount isn't going to be a problem.
>>9107353
aside from steaks, what are your favorite uses for your cast iron?
I just got one from my sweet gran and it's basically just my steak pan, but surely these pans are ubiquitous for reasons other than searing steak
>>9107334
>lime and avocado

leave it to a liberal to serve food with the head and tail still attached and the skin still visible
it probably has bones in it too

People who refuse to eat certain foods because of the "image" of it are the epitome of beta.
Men who won't eat cupcakes or fruity drinks and especially those who mock other men for it are just exposing their insecurity and are clearly overcompensating because no sane person would deny a fucking cupcake.
People who refuse to try vegan alternatives and get triggered over it simply because they're vegan.
People who make fun of avocados because apparently it's a "hipster" food now (who gives a fuck, it's delicious).
People who criticize others for ordering well-done steaks...just KYS.
Stop.
The general idea of your post is very true. Vast majority of people who give a shit about "manly" or "girly" food are limp-wristed numales. There's literally nothing manly about them, so they cling to food. In their mind, not liking a fruity cocktail is an accomplishment.

I agree
>People who refuse to try vegan alternatives and get triggered over it simply because they're vegan.
More like vegans who keep screaming about vegan alternatives and how much better it is to the point you just want them to shut the fuck up
>People who make fun of avocados because apparently it's a "hipster" food now (who gives a fuck, it's delicious).
Ok

Is this because I'm eating them raw instead of cooking them? Please help /ck
>Is this because I'm eating them raw instead of cooking them?
yes
>>9106702

Make a less thick smoothie (use more liquid) and soak the oats overnight.

On line for a year's worth of free burritos.
Ask me anything.
How did you get free burritos?
>>9107408
Opening of new franchise. First 50 get free burritos for a year.
It's probably a coupon book for 1 per week.

Thats at least 2700 burritos for the year
Store cost I imagine is probably like 4 bucks altgether.
Basically they're spending $10000 dollars to get a fuckton of people to eat there on opening day.
