Are there any advantages to a 24 hour fast?
I got locked in my garage for 19 hours. I just got out but I'm thinking of holding off eating for another 5 hours.

A 24 or 30 hour fast will reset your GI system, full on Pancreas reset and everything...even gall bladder. You can eat ice chips if your mouth gets dry, but that's it.
It's good to have a hard reset once in a while.

Is there actual harm in storing certain fruits in the fridge, other than "they won't ripen further" or "b-but the flavour"? Bananas, tomatoes, mandarins, etc.
Honestly I'm sick of fruitflies and my bananas getting overripe in less than a week.

Any islander posters online? I just started working for an older Tongan woman, and I invited her over for lunch tomorrow. Problem is, I have no idea what to cook for her.
I don't want to cook her disgusting poorfag island food like fried bread, roast pork or povi masima. She would probably take offense.
Samoans tend to like Chinese food, and Fijians love Indian food. But Tongans? I have no idea.

Anyone else here feel like the Whopper is a really good burger? It just seems to hit the nail on the head for me, it tastes great, the condiments combined with the salad and beef just work in the right way, and it's actually filling , no need to eat two or three of them
