All my life, since the moment I learned to hold a pencil, all I wanted to do was draw. I enjoyed created my own characters and stories so as I got older I decided I either wanted to go into comics or animation. I decided to go into comics as animation seemed daunting.
I ended up going to an art school to draw comics, but during school I became discouraged by other artists that were better than be. My motivation to draw dwindled.
After graduation I realised making it as a comic artist or illustrator, you have to be a freelancer. But since I had been told so many times by famous artists and publishers to "keep working on your art" it made me frustrated and not want to draw anymore.
I realise now I was better off going to a school like SVA. I could've explored animation and gotten a degree in the process.
So now I plan on going back to a local college to earn a degree in something else, but since all I ever wanted to do in life was draw, and now that I really don't want to do that anymore, I don't know what I can do.
I want to pursue something with animation or video games but I don't know what. The closest thing my local college has is a Communication degree is with a specialization in Design and Digital Media, where I can learn motion graphics, graphic design, etc.
What would you in my position? Is going back to school to earn a bachelors degree the right choice? What field would you pursue?
Ive had friends suggest me becoming a teacher but I have no desire to do that, and I heard that it's miserable.

legit 2d animation for TV is only done over seas these days, wtih very small crews doing the american side of the work which doesn't involve any real animation, just some drawing and of course storyboarding.
there are no more 2d animated movies, unless you count shit like the my little pony movie. there are way more comic jobs in america then there are animation jobs, just saying.

You're an artist so surely you are aware of the INNUMERABLE amount of comics published across the internet. You need tp get something to support yourself, and make your own world of characters and stories and publish that shit online. You'll do it for free for maybe fucking years before you attract donators or advertisers, but the thing is you can't worry about those things. Make art you believe in because you truly want to. DO NOT expect to get paid for it this day and age. Do your job, do your art.
After you have built up a portfolio, start applying for video game companies or whatever and use your comic or individual pieces as examples of what you're capable of. Maybe you'll be able to quit your day job, then.

Also when you get your own webcomic and art off the ground, peruse over your peers' works. Drop them an e-mail if you have enjoyed a particular work. Build a correspondence. Do NOT mention your work unless asked, or at the very least be EXTREMELY tactful with how you bring it up. This is networking. There is no way to know where it can lead, but it is always a positive.

I'm a male suffering from borderline personality disorder. Yeah you can hire one. Some distant relative did it and sent a copy of the info to my dad.
We now have a big book documenting every family member, their careers, places of residence, etc since the 1740s when Johann Hoffman first arrived in America with his 10 children. Johan served with the British in the 7 years war, ancestors fought on both sides of the civil war, all sorts of neat facts. It's one of the coolest things my dad owns. I'd give up all the rest of my inheritance to get it when he dies.

Kidneys started to hurt today and it's a constant weak pain. I've had kidney pains before, but it wasn't like this, it would usually come out of nowhere (sometimes after drinking a lot of coke) and it was a very strong pain (like a kick to the nuts) which would last for a couple of minutes and then subside.
Anyone got any clue what this might be? My dad told me he had kidney stones and pissed blood at one point. Is newly existing constant pain a sign of kidney stones trying to pass or whatever? Thanks /adv/.

Sounds like a kidney stone my man. I've had a couple and it feels a kick in the balls with a steel tie boot.
Drink lots of water, put a couple drops of lemon juice if you have it. Acid will break help break it down a little bit. Cranberry juice is another alternative to make you piss more.
If you want, piss into a strainer to catch it, if it is actually a stone, then take it to your doctor. They'll be able to tell what the stone is made of and how to avoid future stone's.
