Kidneys started to hurt today and it's a constant weak pain. I've had kidney pains before, but it wasn't like this, it would usually come out of nowhere (sometimes after drinking a lot of coke) and it was a very strong pain (like a kick to the nuts) which would last for a couple of minutes and then subside.
Anyone got any clue what this might be? My dad told me he had kidney stones and pissed blood at one point. Is newly existing constant pain a sign of kidney stones trying to pass or whatever? Thanks /adv/.

Sounds like a kidney stone my man. I've had a couple and it feels a kick in the balls with a steel tie boot.
Drink lots of water, put a couple drops of lemon juice if you have it. Acid will break help break it down a little bit. Cranberry juice is another alternative to make you piss more.
If you want, piss into a strainer to catch it, if it is actually a stone, then take it to your doctor. They'll be able to tell what the stone is made of and how to avoid future stone's.

Kidney stones can be serious - go see a urologist or even a family medicine physician. You don't want to end up with hydronephrosis or something because you've had a kidney stone stuck in your ureter.
