He's quite flawed
he made plenty of mistakes. some really stupid ones too.

You can be a Gary Stu and still have "character flaws". It's being flawless in ability that makes you a true Stu.

Why have you summoned me?
I'm reading and watching Osu Karate Bu (manga, OVA, live action raw)
How do teeth work in this universe? Characters get all their teeth punched out from their mouths COMPLETELY in one chapter then they're fine in the next. Is it just "no fucks given, screw logic, let's have a hilarious and stupid yet genuinely badass manga" cartoon logic or so they all wear dentures? I mean, people do die in this universe so it's a little weird
Regardless, even though some of the jokes fall flat this manga is mostly dumb, self-aware exhilarating fun comedy and action based on what I've read/watched so far
I recommend it to people who like vulgar comedy & id-driven violence with almost ONE-esque execution in terms of art (i.e. a mess in terns of anatomy and perspective and other /ic/ things, masterful at clever panel use, compositions and fantastically hilarious reaction faces.
the atmosphere is fucking insane, there are some quiet moments here and there but they quickly turn into something retarded but fun like a fapping competition, an 86 year old man being seemingly the strongest person on earth, a teacher voiced by Norio Wakamoto who keeps going on about "youth" and just non-stop ass kicking and goofiness
also takagi can do this

Step it up, senpai.
Nah, but it looks nice though.
How did they manage to kill everyone in other 11 universes (in Trunks timeline) if there are guys stronger than Goku there?
Do you understand how strong plot armor is?
They didn't, they just killed all the Kaioshins and GoDs

Use the catalog retard, there's like two other DBS threads.
So the rumors were apparently true. Dungeon Meshi got picked up by another publisher who changed the author and/or artist for more mainstream appeal.

Welp I can't greentext.
Vampires, dragons, angels and demons - these mythical creatures have captured our imagination for centuries. Such extraordinary beings can terrify, fascinate, and humble the reader. They've been some of the greatest obstacles the most legendary of fictional heroes have had to overcome.
There's a trend in anime, not beginning with but exemplified by this season's anime: slice of life featuring fantastic creatures. What is the appeal of making the mythical mundane, the extraordinary ordinary, making the once-in-a-lifetime everyday?
>>153258190
Ask 'Welcome to Nightvale'.
>>153258190
It means you can fuck it
>>153258190
This trend has been going for years already. A lot of the Monster Girl stuff are part of it, like the relatively recent Monster Monsume that has managed to find some measure of success both on nipland and in the west. There have been manga series with that kind of setting since at least the 90's or 80's though (Petshop of Horrors being one from the top of my head).
It's a considerable niche I'd say.
>What is the appeal of making the mythical mundane, the extraordinary ordinary, making the once-in-a-lifetime everyday?
That's its own appeal. The surreality of the fantasy subjects mingled with the reality of the ordinary everyday life. All the unthinkable moments and interactions that defy previously conceived ideas. It's a nice form of escapism and of channeling fun fiction.
Adding the most recent cute/moe to it makes for a good sell in today's market.
