Hey /x/, is there anything more to blood than just using it as a common tool in some spoopy rituals? I personally have huge respect for it, thought about donating, but in the end the idea gives me chills, because I'd feel like giving out a part of myself. Not literally, but in /x/-terms. Never heard of blood magic besides games or fantasy books, so anything related is welcome

Using blood in "spoopy" rituals is a really powerful taglock (way to link yourself to the spell) and can be used as an offering to deities if you want. I don't know much more than that.

It's been a very long time since I've visted this board, and I come to ask for help finding a story a read 5+ years ago. Anyways, I'll try for recall the details. The story is about a man who is featured on some sort of reality TV show where he has the perfect life, all the lovers he could want, lives in luxury, etc. But some day when he grows older, he will be moved into a show where he is horrifically tortured, I guess in a way balancing out the life he had. His father is currently in the stage of the torture show, and he'll be moved there when he has a son. Sorry for being nonspecific, it's been a while.

I never post here.
So the last month or so alot of bad stuff has been happening to me.
I got robbed, they took everything.
I lost a lot of money.
And my pet rats died suddenly (have been perfectly healthy until 3 weeks ago).
Along with the string of bad luck i have been finding dead animals, birds and bugs everywhere.
Especially inside my house.
Just now a dove crashed into the window i was sitting next to and then flew away and crashed into it again, killing itself.
I keep finding dead or dying cockroaches and spiders in my kitchen.
I have lived here for a year and nothing like this has happened before, only this past month.
Am i overthinking things or is somethink sp00ky happening?

real time television series about finding the treasures of Nove Scotia's Oak Island
'Money Pit' recently discovered a Roman sword inside one of the areas around places they are digging.
A Roman sword being here in North America that has been untouched far before the 1400's could raise a few questions/ change a few things in history
and to go with the 'treasure' of oak island, it is a huge black box/vault made of an unknown metal surrounded by constantly overflowing caverns, rotten wood, quicksand, and deathtraps. This is water temple tier treasure, and with Roman designed sword, which the symbols and bubbles on the hilt could represent Posiedon/Neptune, could that mean this could be Atlantean treasure?

Ok, the progress ive made is this.

My point is, when you die - so does your brain right? Since your brain contains all your life experiences and knowledge that make you the individual you are, they all just vanish, cause your brain dies together with your body.

IMO reincarnation is wishful thinking...the 'soul' can be distorted and manipulated with drugs, magnetism, culture, etc... It's looking more and more sadly like the awareness that arises in humans is just the summation of our complex parts - and can be potentially upgraded.
I'd feel a bit of survivors guilt, but I'm hoping for immortality gene therapy to take the world by storm, so humanity can move out of the 'git mine now' mindset. Too bad only the rich can afford immortality...

Seems physically impossible to be formed naturally, how would a fucking star develop in a hollow planet? Jupiter is the defence system, its gravity prevents comets from hitting Earth
The sun is the Engine, its energy powers everything
The Moon is like a clock, mixed with the sun, it helps create movement on earth with the tides
And Earth is the living quarters

Sorry if I just posted this, my comp is acting weird. I know this is probably the worst place to go, but I was wondering what you guys thought about the major religions? The bible preaches love and forgiveness but talks about how homosexuals are going to hell. The quran is generally a good book but says that music will send you to hell, all types that don't praise Allah. Is all religion just controlling BS? Wouldn't we all be happier if we were to live our own lives without an overwhelming amount of influence from a book that everyone says you should follow?
