My name is Alex and my Great Grandma died last Thursday. In her will she left me a casino token, a 16 year old bottle of coke, and a VHS player. I like to play my tapes. back to topic. Inside the VHS player was a tape so I plugged the VCR in and had hell of a time getting the tape out. The tape looks exactly like that picture. The slot where the name is exposed to go is just nothing and has residue of what looked like was a sticker on there. So I plop the tape into my tv which has a VCR already in it. Then hit play and get some weird orange screen with a notice to talk to my doctor before watching this tape. But they message only appears for about 3 seconds before my tv shuts off. This never happened before. So after a few more tries all result in turning my tv off and with other tapes it works just fine. Does anybody have a solution? and Yes I uploaded the first picture to ifunny because I was too lazy to hook my phone up to my computer

I don't know if you classify sleep paralysis as "Paranormal" still around this board, but I just had it for what I believe was about an hour straight.
For those of you familiar with SP here is my "Static Image" (I just made that term up; basically it's the environment you can see during your episode. If there's an actual term let me know!):
Laying on bed, on back. Corner of the room. 2 posters on the opposite side of the wall. Long part of the L-desk on my immediate right. Blankets on my chest.
My Sleep Paralysis has always been common, but lately I can usually trigger it on demand; basically all I need to do is lay on my bed during an unusual hour while tired and stay in the same position for about 20-30 seconds, then think about the fact that SP exists, BAM. I can no longer move, the voices around the room begin, and annoying shit ensues. Do I want this shit to happen and ruin my nap? No. Can I NOT think about it? No. Fuck.

Anyways, as soon as it started earlier, I was unable to move "much". My first instinct is to get out of it, which I usually do by shaking my head and convulsing wildly, which usually works. It did not work this time. I then accepted the fact that I have to find another way out of this bullshit. However, for some reason I decided it wasn't that bad. I felt something on my left shift closer to me, but I couldn't really see it. (I can never see the creature that is in my SP episodes, no matter the circumstances. It's impossible.) I didn't mind it much so I decided whatever maybe I'll just let it happen this time and see how it ends up. (I always try to get out of because I have a fear if I let it happen I will die) So I just lay there, and it gets closer and closer, but at a certain point it stopped and I felt an amazing relaxation. I was at peace. I closed my eyes for a while, then opened them and suddenly I was inside of my blankets. I freaked out a bit and noticed a picture on my right inside the darkness. I don't remember what it was but it was colorful. I was actually scared so I closed them again and I felt an invasive presence on my right side of the face. Even though I could not see it, I knew it was staring intensely at me. I then tried the twitch trick and I got out of it. I was back at my Static Image, but I was not out of SP yet.
2nd attempt begins here: I notice a water bottle on my right. I manage to be able to grab it and unscrew the cap so I can drop water onto my face. No matter how much I unscrew it and take it off, the cap always manages to be back on. This attempt happens a few more times, but to no avail. 3rd method: Yell my sister's name. The first time I did it my voice was normal, but 2nd time I yelled it was significantly lower, and eventually it was completely mute. I can no longer yell so I give up that method.

Method #4: I actually manage to unscrew the bottle and feel a few drop of water on my hand. Wow!
So I put that shit over my face and begin tilting it. Oh, boy what a coincidence! A hand above me immediately tips it back upwards each time.
Method #5: Open the bottle, keep my arm above my head patiently and accidentally drop the thing. Suddenly a hand from the left wall tickles me instantly, I drop the bottle, and the hand above me grabs the bottle and returns it to the desk in an efficient manner. By this point I'm pissed.
Method #6: Grab the bottle and slam it on the desk repeatedly. This one went in a fashion similar to me yelling.
Eventually I actually fell asleep and had a dream about living in some apartment with my two sisters, which I believed to be me finally being awake and free. I walked to the building entrance and some lady offered me free bread, but she was confused about where the store in this building was and assumed I was the employee there. I told her the market was on the left hand side and she thanked me and demanded the bread back, as it wasn't free, it was just for the store. I went upstairs and there were three doors, but I knew from memory that the middle door was our door. I opened it and my older sister and I exchanged greetings. I looked in my living room and noticed my younger sister sleeping in her pajamas on the couch. All was right with the world, but I remembered that this is bullshit. It wasn't a warm, rainy day in autumn today. I shook my head and woke up to my Static Image once again. (Am I the only one freaked out about the fact that every night you completely forget that your entire life even existed and accept a new one as the real one?)

After that "awakening" I was still paralyzed for a few instances. I then proceeded to have a couple false awakenings where I got off my bed and did things but always ended up back to the Static Image.
But at long last, I was actually awake! I cracked my hands together and was happy. You know what was the funniest thing? I reached for the water bottle while I was still laying down and I could not reach it.
It was too far away for me to grab it.

Can someone explain to me how Hell is realistically suppose to work?
So you basically get thrown into a lake of fire to burn in agony for all eternity, right? But after about 5 years (however many seconds) you will just become numb to the paint mentally and it will be like a second nature, right? that's why we have evil spirits and stuff that are immune to fire
I think after about 20 years the real killer will be boredom. Unless Hell isn't what we think it is

So I quickly deviced a plan to add a couple of more years onto those.
Have hell be like heaven, then suddenly, you're in a pool of lava.
you're with your loved ones, eating Christmas dinner and in the blink of an eye they start screaming, clawing their eyes out in agony.
You're out, having a swim in a pleasant lake with your parents, your father tells you to swim over to him, once there he smiles and then proceeds to shove your head under the water, trying to drown you.
Having the rug pulled away under you like that all the time, infesting the place you crawl into during intense pain, that's bound to fuck you up sooner or later.
I thought that up fairly quickly, but if you're the devil and its your job to fuck with people for the rest of eternity, I would think that forks and lava swimming is reserved for days of boredom.

What are some good books to learn about paganism? Any pagans on /x/ ? I've honestly always felt close to nature ( especially since i'm almost full native american) And really just want to worship mother earth. grew up in a shitty christian cult, and always heard about how eveil paganism was. Honestly though my mother always felt in her heart she was a natural witch and had to fight it to stay loyal to god, and it just made me realize that I want to channel all this spirituality I have back into the earth.

Hi /x/. I'll just get right into it
I need your help
I am a shaky believer in paranormal/magical things, but Chaos Magic is the one thing I've had definite results with.
So I made a sigil.
This sigil is actually about 11 separate ones, and they all have the same goal. To make one persons life better. Believe me, if anyone deserves to have a better life, it's them.
Anyway, I feel that instead of just me putting energy int this sigil, it would be much more effective, or at least have higher chances of being helpful, if MANY people put energy, focus, and tome into it.
So here's where /x/ comes in.
One of the best ways I have found to focus on a sigil is to change it, make it yours. So please, if you can spare the time, do that with this one. If you notice something about it that doesn't look quite right, change it. Paint, photoshop, print it out and color it, whatever. Anything that you can think of. Rotate it so it looks better upside down. Anything
I am aware you may need more information, and if it is mine to give, i will give it
