Never been in a cult myself, tried to start one up and only ever got two members. It died after a while, but I ended up getting a disciple about a year later by accident. He wanted to know some shit about my past and when I (rather dismissively) went over the part when I was trying to start up my religion (i.e. my cult), he ended up getting hooked. I eventually sent him on his way as my first disciple to spread the word. No clue what happen to him, it's been almost two years since I saw him.

Also knew a woman who was fleeing a cult from Poland. A friend of my helped her get to the US and I rented here some space until she got back on her feet.

As a hush fell upon the lecture hall, the professor chuckled and produced a worn copy of the accursed NECRONOMICON, and proceeded to draw some archaic symbols on the floor. He spoke words long forgotten, and the air shimmered above the lecture hall. The air began to stink of raw sewage, but still the professor chanted. A rip began to form in the Time-Space Continuum. As the professor was about to speak the final sentences that would release the Lovecraftian horror and seal Verthaine's doom, the good Reverend looked at the apple in his hand, folded up the chair he was sitting on, and tossed it at the professor's head. The professor was just about to say the final words freeing the ancient eldritch horror from the protective sigil he created when the flying chair connected, knocking him out. And after the Inter-dimensional horror (angered that it was prevented from truly entering our realm due to the unconsciousness of the professor) dragged the unfortunate Dr. Hellbreath back into it hellish netherworld, the young Verthaine took a bite out of the golden apple, placed it on the late professors desk, lit a joint and said: "Spell countered."

I don't even bother with the lucid dreaming myself.
Nothing wrong with Jung's active imagination. I don't even have to be asleep. All I need is twenty minutes of down time and I'm off on a mind vacation.
I also feel like it's improved my ability to visualize things in my head, and to make up silly stories on the fly.
Jung was mostly full of shit, but that one little trick has been great for me.

If that is the case, I have no idea as to why anyone would be giving me a feather. The "mass" in question seemed kinda like a very large fleshy sack, full of some liquid with the viscosity of puss from what I could gather. The shape of that thing was constantly swirling as the liquid shifted around, filling up pockets in the fleshbag like zits. It gave me the feather using its appendages, which looked exactly like twigs from a tree - texture and everything.
I thought the fae are like tinkerbell - cute fairies with wings?
