so my sister told me sometime ago that my mother used to practice reiki.
im i able to practice/use it too?
i remember every time i was sick as a child, she rubed some ointment on my chest and mumbled something. i though she prayed but probably used/did reiki.

so what do you do as a reiki master?
are you using some herbs an other stuff and muble something to cure your "patients" sickness? or are you using some magic/paranormal force do it?

Reiki is a modern import from Japan which, because it got popularised in the women's magazines, has become almost synonymous with healing. Most cultures have laying on of hands type healing practices.

Not to put Reiki down, it's just that there is a lot more out there and Reiki is known because of its commercialised pop culture presentation.
