Hey /x/, /k/ and /out/ fellow here, I don't ever really go on this board but something strange happened tonight and it made my blood curdle.

When we’re a kid, we usually know the world to be a happy place, we expect our parents to be in love with each other, and the world at peace. I’ve known this to be a lie when I was eleven years old, I saw the world for how ugly it really was, I never had a traumatic experience, but wasn’t naive enough to have these expectations of the world. Humanity hides within us all, only appearing in times of lacrimos or empathy, I heard life was good with only bad moments, like a road trip, and hitting a few bumps here and there. But why have we never thought of it to be bad with good moments? This is at least how I see the world right now, everywhere I see adults with careers that bores them, marriages where the feeling of love goes one way, children they never wanted and are seen as a burden, and classes that have no meaning to them. Suicide in america makes up 30% of all deaths, steadily rising, I used to see suicide as nothing more then natural selection, the weak dieing to make more space for the strong. We were brainwashed in middle school to see suicide as a bad thing, that it is never to be seen as an escape or “a way out”, but that’s exactly what it is, coward or not it’s our only salvation, you see life simply takes too long. And suicide can release you of your pain, it will always be there, no matter how happy you think you are, or another person, even when you think you dogged it’s grasp, it will always be there, waiting for your return, because it knows you will starve for it’s temptation, because throughout your life you will consider its offer, some seeming better than the other, I just hope you will realize how meaningless life really is, and you see death as a friend rather than a fear, because it will help you through your toughest times.

Im trying to find this book that my dad had when i was a kid, i was like 8 or 9. it was a book about the different ways humans have interacted with aliens and it had a chapter about human/alien hybrids and a chapter about aliens hiding among humans, and how if you looked close enough you could see small differences. i know this isnt a lot of info to go on, but if anyone can even hazard a guess, id be pretty grateful. there was a picture of a woman in the alien-huiman hybrid chapter that looked like the woman in the painting american gothic, if that helps.

I watched it a few months back and really enjoyed it. I don't quite understand the people who say that it was pretentious. I liked that it wasn't a jump scare sort of movie, and instead focused on that eerie, dark atmosphere. It wasn't a SCARY movie in my opinion but it was delightfully creepy.

Keep having this recurring nightmare that's impossible to shake. This demon harasses me while I try to sleep and shows me these graphic images of people being murdered, hung, tortured, burned alive... Even when I am awake in this dream, he changes what's real. I'll say one thing and he'll change it to something completely different. It will make other people think I'm crazy or hate me. He alienates me and then kills those who were closest to me, but when I to warn them or tell someone else, they never believe me. The dream always ends with either my boyfriend or my father pulling up to my house while I'm hysterically trying to keep them away.
What could this mean? It's been torturing me for days.

Literally everytime I tried to close my eyes I saw gore, guts, limbs, blood, etc. but it hasn't happened since. I used to frequently get sleep paralysis after dreams where something chases me or attacks me but it hasn't happened in awhile. my dreams are pretty standard I usually push them off other then the occasional terrifying nightmare or epic dream.
