Do any of you flip a coin to settle a lot of decisions? Do you believe coin flips could be influenced by some unknown force? Perhaps even divine intervention? Would you believe whatever decision the coin makes would be the right one? As if some unknown force was deciding for you instead?
I suppose this depends on if you believe in "luck" or if you're superstitious, some people don't believe in luck while others believe luck could be some kind of supernatural force/power.

I had a close encounter tonight.
I went outside my house to look at the sky because I had a feeling I would see a UFO, as I had already seen something earlier on fly over a lake for 15 or so seconds, but it could have been a bird or a drone.
Anyway, I cast my eyes above and see a bright, white star like object slowly glide across the sky a few degress, much slower than a plane. Then it started to move to the left and rigjht. I called my family outside and started recording.
The UFO began to do these absolutely incredible physics defying manoeuvres, darting seemingly instantaneously around and shooting straight up in the sky at such speed. It was the most transcendental, serene and beautiful moment.
It continued for a good ten minutes, until clouds came and I went inside.

Well I'll be honest with you here, it's your own intuition. The fact that you're asking a question like that is suggesting that you're already on the way towards finding the right info. I can't point a finger to any one source that best epitomizes an understanding of these systems. There have been countless books, videos, infographics, and conversations that have led to my understanding and while they haven't all been congruent with each other, they fit like pieces of a puzzle to my own understanding.
Doing energy work has a lot to do with being in tune with your own emotions and behaviors. As you move past first seemingly permanent/solid blocks energetically, your ability to manifest your will increases. This is because your will becomes more inline with the will of the cosmos, "the great I Am".
Sorry if that's not the answer you were hoping for, but when you're receiving information that was meant for you, you will feel it as a lightness or pressure in your head (third eye) and/or a feeling of lightness and warm in your chest and upper back (heart chakra). If you follow those feelings you'll find your way quickly.
If you go into a piece of information thinking "this will teach how to x, y, and z" you may just be wasting your time chasing a false belief if the information isn't registering on a deeper subconscious or spiritual level.

It's a mystery OP someday we may know but for now we do not. There are documentaries on the subject of the manuscript, and theories pertaining to its origin but no conclusive proof can be found as of yet.

-A guy who films himself illegally wandering in abandoned buildings and crackhead havens, screaming every time the wind blows
