Do the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games give anyone else weird vibes? I've always felt an eerie connection to them, ever since they came out.
General eerie video game discussion welcome.

It's probably the memory of you playing in your uncle's mystery dungeon that makes you feel icky when you play
I have been replaying GTA: SA, and damn, I don't remember it being so creepy and desolate. The desert and woods are pretty unnerving - vehicles spawn at random, lots of creepy easter eggs like the body bags.
The whole city has a glow at night, and the whole game has really dark shaders considering it's supposed to be in a sunny environment.
Makes me miss staying up late at night watching those myth hunting videos (every single one used the goddamn X-Files theme), good times..

I just found out that my puerto rican side of the family practiced Santeria.
My mom told me that my Great Aunt (a devoted Catholic) used to do rituals to Pagan gods to heal her and her brothers.
Is Santeria legit? Being Puerto Rican will I have a natural propensity to use it?
I wouldn't know...
I don't practise santeria

It can be pretty hard anon. Society doesn't really encourage spiritual disciplines and is more about keeping people satisfied with mundane.
Keep at it and dedicate at least a little time regularly to studying. All paths lead to God, anon.

thanks anon i really apreciate your words.
i think this spiritual crisis began when i failed at bhakti yoga, the first days were easy but then i have some ego issues when it comes to accept all the evil and ignorance of the world

A narcissist calling others narcissistic... That's neat...

Haters gonna hate but none of us are narcissists.

Your own post proved you wrong.
I'm not really sure that this counts as paranormal- I just have to tell, someone, somewhere where it won't be attached to my name.
I worked in Iraq during the Bush administration.I wasn't in the military, I was in the state department. A lot of us went over there just to do busywork, to create the illusion of a stable diplomatic relationship by having a big diplomatic presence. We were just there to be there. The embassy compound was built like a fortress, to keep people out. Everyone knows that. What they don't know is that it was built to keep people in.
When I was working in the embassy, I noticed something weird: there were these waist-high miniature doors around every inner wall around the core of the compound. They'd just... be there. While we worked on data entry, they'd be behind us. Everyone thought they were something to do with the janitors. Personally I thought they were something to do with robot vacuums.
Then I came into the main building late one night, to print off some paperwork.
If you've ever heard of an oubliette, you're probably one step ahead of my account. If you haven't, it's a sort of pit you throw someone into so that they can't escape.
>>18649197
It wasn't just that they were throwing people in- they were cutting them first. It was ritualistic. And then they took out the doors and put fresh drywall in their place. No one ever said a word about it, but I saw it.
Wait.
So you went into the main building at night.
And... You saw... Esxactly what? Did you open one of the doors? Be more precise.
>>18649210
They were cutting people and throwing them through the doors, and later, the places where the doors were were drywalled over.
I can't tell you if they were cutting them in particular patterns- for all I know it was a way of getting rid of political prisoners, but they all at least got a cross-cut over their chests.
Hi
My gf's dad is colombian, and his familiy apparently always were retards. His grand-grandparents were in a lot of shit, and she explains me that a shaman cursed them, that every girls life in the family for the next 5 generations are going to be ruined.
From what she tells me later, every women who are related in blood with her from his dad's side are, yeah, either fucked up, died from various ways, or it happened to her horrible things. ( They're colombian I didn't even try to count how many they are )
My gf is the 4th generation. So she is still theoretically cursed, so are our potentials daughters.
So, at first, is there a such thing as cursing someone's family for multiple generations? Is there a way to break the curse? At first I wouldn't believe it, but there isn't a single sane women in the dad's family. Even my gf, who has a personality disorder / was raped.

There you have your answers:
>was raped
>developed a personality desorder
>blames a curse
I had a similar experience with a latina
>a close relative died from cancer
>she took it very badly
>she blamed a curse for it
>I didn't mind too much because I just took it as supersticious believes all latins have
>Eventually the thing got out of hands
>anything bad it happened to herself or anyone close to her was because of that curse
>she refused to accept own mistakes and logical explanations

Hey. I don't normally post here but I figure you guys are the best to ask.
Is magic real? I've heard about magic and "the occult" for a very long time but have never understood it. I have searched for real magic many times, but all that I can find is either written in very vague terms, (spells of protection, blessing, fortune, etc) or incredibly complicated to the point that no sane person would actually attempt it.
If I saw real evidence that there was any sort of magic in this world, I would dedicate myself to learning it, but I'm not sure there is. I know of people like Alistair Crowley that got very involved with "the occult" but what kept them there? Surely they were seeing real results and truth from their spells to stay involved with it?
I've heard of white magic, black magic, etc. What type doesn't matter to me. If any of you can give me a reason to think that I can attain any type of magic power or perform a ritual that will actually do something, you have my attention.
>is magic real
Yes let me do your homework for you

Not sure what you mean, but this isn't an assignment and I'm no longer in school. I am actually seeking this information for myself.

I found someones witchcraft a few miles from a backroad in the grand Canyon area a couple of times.
Like pots, skin, a stench, and for some reason stacked flat rocks.
When I got home up north and I go walking at night I tie my hair back and cover it with a beanie, they are crafty in means of stealing your hair and shit for their witchcraft.
I was also told that there's a trail that one uses not far from where I usual stay to heads towards the grey mountain area. Spoopy

by "this" do you mean the song or the whole pepe/kek/meme magic thing as a whole?
"meme magic" as it is called by /pol/ is actually an egregore. just how powerful this egregore is is a little hard to say. the influence it had on, say, brexit or trump's victory is debatable because there are other factors you could point to as far as what prompted the successes of both campaigns. personally, I think /pol/ is treading dangerous waters here. particularly disturbing is their attribution of this "meme magic" to the ancient egyptian god of chaos/darkness. if they aren't careful, I think /pol/ will see more chaos than they ever wanted to.

-New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
-Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.
-Some readers will refuse to do certain readings - respect that choice. Also, bullshit queries will get bullshit answers.
-An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!
-Avoid making the same question over and over and/or to different readers, as this may lead to more confusion than clarification

Hey /x/, who's your favorite serial killer and why?
Jeffrey Dahmer seems abnormal even in the realm of serial killers, he didn't kill for fame, he didn't enjoy the killing - having to be drunk before he had the courage to do it. Even after he was captured he had lamented that he wished that he was caught sooner. Dahmer also fully complied with psychiatric evaluations as he saw them as an avenue for him to finally understand his urges and compulsions. Unlike other serial killers, Dahmer had a healthy relationship with his parents, going as far as defending his mother and father from blame after he was caught.
Other serial killers often have more obtuse psychological conditions from multiple head traumas from an early age, sexual abuse(s), or mental conditioning from childhood. Dahmer suffered from none of these symptoms, and was by all counts normal by his parents and classmates.
Chikatilo.
He couldn't get an erection until he tortured and killed his victims.
>>18647574
Wasn't there another active serial killer during the same period as Chikatilo that was trying to keep base with his kill count? I know that it was a russian killer.

You must feel pretty edgy right now, kiddo.
Well let me tell you something, and pay attention because you might just learn some humility and respect, two things you obviously lack.
You have no idea the terror that was done under that symbol you so flippantly post and chuckle about in your little basement. My grandfather was a Nazi officer stationed at Auschwitz and the evil he was forced to witnes is far beyond anything your little neckbeard brain can comprehend.
So think about what you are doing and the pain your little games can cause next time you post.
