Listen, all magic is scientific principals presented like "mystical hoodoo" which is fun, but it's sort of irresponsible.

All science is magic represented as "logical" which is fun, but it's sort of irresponsible.
>>18656042
>>18656066
All views on reality are biased conclusions based on ones own limited knowledge and personal experiences; which is fun, yet incredibly irresponsible.
Push your views on others never, let your mind go free while learning everything you can on your journey towards absolution and completion of self.

>like, woooah, reality is subjective, man
Magic isn't real, it's just Satan presenting you with the illusion of power and control. True power comes from submission to almighty God. You can trust me, I'm a princess.
Hello again /x/. I posted here once before and if all is going well this is the second time you've seen a thread of this nature. Otherwise, welcome aboard.
I'd like to invite analysis of our lives for any sort of series of odd coincidences, interesting outcomes of fate, and unlikely arrangements of "acts of God".
The story I'd like to share today is one of coincidences and fate. The coincidence in question is that all but one person I have romantically loved has either killed themselves or tried to kill themselves. The first was a friend in my first few years of school, who I found out last year killed herself at 14. I was reminded of this today when a family friend mentioned her suicide. The second was my first girlfriend, the third a practical stranger at a summer camp, and the fourth my current girlfriend.
I am making no claims that this is outside what can reasonably be expected by statistics and the relation of personality and suicidal tendencies. However it is an element that feels meaningful in my life.
I've shared my story and it's your turn now, anon. What is your unresolved plot thread?
90% of the time I say a non-ironic opinion, intelligent people will play devil's advocate against it and stupid people will act dis-interested and change the subject.
I think you just have a thing for emotionally damaged women
I saw an invisible plane once, I have told this story before and it's not really complex.
I was camping with three other friends, and in the morning I saw something in the sky, like a weird reflection, my friends saw it too.
We obviously tought it to be a sun reflection but it stood there hoovering and moving slowly for a good while, regardless of the position we took or how did we block the light.
Then this year a couple of invisible plane videos surfaced including the Chilean ufo, that's exactly what I saw.
Of course I have zero evidence of this and it's just a neat story, but there you go, that's my unresolved plot.
Hey /x/
I have some of my teeth here and was wondering if anyone knows any beneficial spells I could use them with?
Summon a tooth fairy
My family has passed down the ritual from generation to generation, but first you need a pillow
>>18655085
You've got some big walrus teeth bruh
>have a moment of clarity
>realize you have no fucking idea who you are
I'm scared. I don't know who the fuck I am or how I got here.
Your music is as old as the universe. Only thing i can tell you
Seriously?
Jaden, what're you doing on x?
Lets discuss /x/

They are getting iced by ICE and Trump is making anime real!
>>18653851

Well, I feel like the pace at which people post has gone up significantly since I first started coming around here, and less and less actual content gets posted. People still consistently do the summoning RP bullshit. A lot less creepypasta floating around, I guess that sort of died out a year or so after the puddi incident. I mean they're still around, just not as prevalent. Okay, your turn.
Let's talk about Shamanim, /x/. Shamanism was a thing that emerged from every culture on earth at one point. From the vast wastelands of Serbia, to the Korean Peninsula, even to the Native Tribes in the United States.Even the isolated Polynesian people had types of shamanism. Each type of Shamanism, while having different name for their gods, had the same aspects to it. The Shaman's journey, spirit guides and altered states of reality being the core features of many of them.
So the question for this thread is this: how did such similar traditions emerge around the globe from people who had no contact from one another?
>>18652900
Even cavemen had shamans.
>>18652900
It must be something inherent to humans.
>>18652904
damn they were shit artists that looks nothing like a mammoth
I wanna make works of art that are genuinely horrifying but everything I make just feels generic and not actually fear inducing. What makes an image scary /x/?
Not sure what to tell you. Your creativity has tome come from within you.
I guess we can post creepy/scary/spooky art here to at least let you see what moves us, though.
try working witch, charcoal, blending tools and white chalk, try using black or grey paper instead of white.
the key to making things scary is to not have the individual parts of the picture add up to a cohesive whole. draw a friendly looking person, but give them eyes that are from a different animal and in the wrong part of the face. Don't forget to make some things clear and other's blurry. Usually you want to make the part that doesn't fit sharp and clear. Here it's the eyes in the scull. If all else fails, look at pictures of dog skeletons on the internet and draw them in white chalk on black paper.
I need something that keeps me from doing amphetamines (speed). I tried quitting myself but I need something bigger than myself to meditate to that keeps me away from drugs. Any non meme ideas?
You mean meth amphetamine or like adderal?
>>18657584
It's kinda in between, I guess they don't have a name for it in the US but it's known as speed here. I guess it's practically Adderall
>>18657653
2 Drug-based ideas I've heard helped with opioid addiction atleast.
Weed has always helped ME atleast quit anything, but then I'd just get addicted to that, and when you smoke more than one time a day it kinda reduces your cognitive abilities.
I've heard secondhand that Kratom has helped SO many people with different addictions opiods to nicotine.
It's supposed to be something that you'll feel throughout the day and not have to dose every 2 hours.
Also meditating on this 'itch' that addiction is, can actually turn into some pretty vivid emotions, I turned it to being addicted to helping people and working towards my future through 'mental alchemy', which is pretty hard to get the hang of, but works pretty good when you do get the hang of it.
Also smoking a cig everytime you get 'the itch' seems like a better idea than snorting, which is what I do when i get 'the itch' for wanting to blaze it.

The first episode with the flying brick was pretty good. Zack seemed genuinely scared or maybe he was just hamming it up to get a syndicated series.
Always found it funny how he tries to throw down with the ghosts.
So, /x/. This is my first time here. I'm just wondering if there is some sort of general consensus among the visitors of this board - are paranormal phenomena real or are you just here for some good old creepy fun?

Yes.

Did I miss a thread, or is nobody aware that it's /x/'s 10'th birthday today?
>>18636561
I've been coming here for 5 years, I had no idea it was birthday time. I have no way of knowing even if you speak truth.
I highly doubt there are many people here who have been coming here for 10 years. This place has changed significantly. I don't really know why I come anymore. Nostalgia, I guess.
>>18636617
I don't see why there wouldn't be. I'm from 2009. EIGHT damn years.
>>18636617
I've been here since 2014. It's changed drastically, I admit. I would stop coming here but there isn't any other imageboard that are about paranormal stuff and I'm not going to reddit, I'd rather die.
planet earth is a spaceship that flies around the universe exploring things
everyone on earth is a member of the crew
i've just arrived in this timeline to talk about how your role in your community translates into how your function on this spaceship affects where we are all going
also granting wishes to the coolest functioning member of the crew that posts in this thread
>>18658061
Cool. Whats my role in this spaceship? Most people don't really like me, Im too nice for a guy they say, so fulfilling my role, whatever it is, its a bit difficult for me
>>18658061
>build spaceship planet
>assign most of crew the tasks of spending entire life eating, shitting, killing each other, and generally fucking things up

Toilet duty.
Take a magical volunteer.
Cut/Stomp a hole in his head, less than an inch.
Channel him with breathing (store air in your chest to promote, channel air into stomache to dismotivate).
Channel him with astronomic objects.
Maybe there develops a culture where volunteers are going to do that.
As on the Phillipines, but they're doing it wrong.
No idea how to make a neat hole in ones head. I'd call them dwellers.
