Hey /x/, if I wanted to make a magic helmet to keep psychics or the Fair Folk from supernaturally erasing my mind, what would I need to use for its design and construction?
My prototype so far will incorporate a plate of copper in the crown and the forehead, as copper seems to be common in protective charms. I considered silver, but I'm concerned that it'd lose effectiveness in the daytime. I've also been told Citrine should be used in the construction, but gemstones have never really been my forte, and the web is full of fake gemstone information.

Hi /x/ please grant me some attention. I don't come here often, im mostly on /b/ but I like you guys/gals. But anyway, that's not the subject
the first of july of last year, a dear freind of mine commited suicide by hanging. I found her, unhung her and couldn't go to her incineration that was 3days later bc the senpai made it private.
I don't know much about spiritual communication, idk if ouija is b& or not but I just want to know...
Is there a way to contact her, not nessecarily talk but just have some form of interaction. I miss her more than I could ever imagine possible

Last year My family and I were on vacation in Florida, and in my dreams I heard "your sister will kill herself in a years time".
So far she has started going to therapy, taking antidepressants and cutting herself.
I have to say, though I considered myself an atheist before I'm being heavily swayed to the side of agnosticism.
Did I hear the voice of God, and is his word absolute? Can I affect what is happening at all?
I'm half tempted to let things slide and see if it comes true. if it does, I've sworn to myself to become a devout Christian.

Scientists Revive 10,000-year-old Life
In a remarkable breakthrough, microbes trapped inside cave crystals have been brought back to life. The organisms were found encased inside shafts of gypsum within Mexico's Naica mountain caves - a place that has become synonymous with the study of life surviving in extreme environments. Incredibly, after extracting microbes from within the crystals, scientists were actually able to revive them despite the fact that they had been trapped there for between 10,000 and 50,000 years.
"Other people have made longer-term claims for the antiquity of organisms that were still alive, but in this case these organisms are all very extraordinary - they are not very closely related to anything in the known genetic databases," said Dr Penelope Boston.
The Naica mountain caves are among the most hostile environments on Earth. Anything attempting to survive there has to deal with permanent darkness, stifling temperatures and high levels of acidity. The fact that microbes recovered from the caves can be revived even after tens of thousands of years demonstrates just how incredibly resilient life can be.

Woolly Mammoth 'On the Verge of Resurrection'
Speaking in advance of this year's American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) meeting, Professor George Church, the scientist leading efforts to achieve the 'de-extinction' of the woolly mammoth, has claimed that success may be only a couple of years away. His team at Harvard University has been working to create a "mammophant" - a cross between a modern elephant and a mammoth that will possess some of the physical traits of both species. To achieve this, the researchers are going to splice in the genes associated with certain mammoth traits such as long shaggy hair, subcutaneous fat and blood adapted to cold weather climates.
"We're working on ways to evaluate the impact of all these edits and basically trying to establish embryogenesis in the lab," said Professor Church.
There are even plans to grow the hybrid inside an artificial womb rather than in a surrogate mother, mainly to avoid harming any elephants which are themselves becoming increasingly endangered. Not everyone however is enthusiastic about what the team is attempting to achieve.
"The proposed 'de-extinction' of mammoths raises a massive ethical issue - the mammoth was not simply a set of genes, it was a social animal, as is the modern Asian elephant," said Matthew Cobb, professor of zoology at the University of Manchester. "What will happen when the elephant-mammoth hybrid is born? How will it be greeted by elephants?"

Bolivia Under Siege by Plague of Locusts
The South American country has declared a state of emergency following a mass influx of the insects. First reported back in January, the vast swarm has already managed to cover over 1,000 hectares of crops in the province of Santa Cruz and is threatening to spread even further. Plagues of locusts are generally unheard of in Bolivia, despite the fact that its neighbor Argentina has had to deal with swarms of the insects since the 1920s. A new government unit has now been set up in an effort to address the problem with plans to fumigate over 17,000 hectares of crops to stop the insects endangering the food supply.
"We will create a 500-metre-wide ring around the area affected and fumigate inside, working alongside the local authorities," said Agriculture Secretary Mauricio Ordonez.

For at least two years now 4chan strips .exif from photos before posting them. That's why photos taken on cellphones tend to get posted sideways or upside down, cellphones store orientation in .exif -- once that's gone 4chan doesn't know which way is up and just slaps pic in any ol' way it feels like.
I believe you've been told this in other threads of yours, but you don't change your copypasta opening...

I read somewhere that a monk, upon visiting a different world, saw that the Lotus Sutra was different in that world.
I believe I have stumbled unto a different reality and used the Google of that reality. I saw that every page was like its real-world counterpart but tainted by the mistakes of that reality and, furthermore, some pages referenced other dimensions and contained instructions (presumably by more-enlightened beings) on how to set your mind into other frequencies so you can visit other dimensions. As is custom in spiritual matters, the instructions were rarely literal, they were more like hints.
Some days later, I was receiving a form of psychic attack (I kept getting the image of the guy from that saw movie) and it occurred to me, I googled "how do I stop the saw guy" and I got the Statue of Liberty in the results: not a single saw guy appeared. Only later did I realise I was still using the astral plane Google, not our Google. This google was made to understand queries like this and suggested me the statue as a protective charm (it has anti-memetic properties in the astral plane) while shielding myself from further bad memes.
Has anyone else visited parallel reality media?

If any of you remember, during the holidays we ran a series of tests, looking for new members to add to our private research project "AVALANCHE". We selected two people to add to our team, and are looking forward to running these tests again soon.
Since these tests were run, we have made a breakthrough in our work which is going to change everything we know about the universe, about space, about time, about your own existence, and what it means.
One of our recent recruits is currently putting together a package to present publicly to the world, to unveil what we've been doing, and what we've discovered. We are projecting this package to be ready by the end of this week. The earliest we will present will be Friday afternoon, not only to this board, but in a large number of places. So I'm gonna keep this real simple. About a year and a half ago I believe I had an MIB experience. I was in New Orleans with my mother and brother and we decided to stop at a Walmart before heading across the border to Mississippi to visit some beach town.
As soon as we pulled in to the parking lot, i noticed a large car parked up next to the building. It's windows were tinted to complete pitch black darkness and it was the same with the windshield. There were also no plates on the front or the back. The car itself seemed to be a late 1980's four door sedan, but i couldn't tell the make or model because it had no logos on the trunk or grill. Im fairly certain it was a lincoln or cadillac.
I tried to follow the car as well as I could because I thought it odd that something like that could stick out so much and yet not get more attention. Neither of family even said a word about it. You'd think there would be police checking it out, right? My brother eventually turned the car down an aisle and my line of sight was cut off with the car. We pulled into a spot after about ten seconds and i jumped of the car as quickly as I could to look at the black car, but it was gone. I asked my mother what she thought about it and she acted as if she didnt know what car I was talking about. My brother said the same thing.
In order to pull out of the parking lot and disappear that fast, the car would have had to burn serious rubber and make some noise, but I never heard anything.
I never saw anyone get in or out of the car, so I figured whoever it was must have been watching a target. My theories have ranged from a wealthy gang leader's whip, to the feds, to MIB. I really didnt think it was them though until i watched a video of Dan Akroyd's experience a few hours ago and it sounded eerily similar.
What do you guys think? Anyone else have some sort of way to explain this?
