I went to bad late, last night, 4 AM or so. But I couldn't force myself to fall sleep. I looked up random things on the phone for some time until I got bored.
Then I put the phone away and tried to fall asleep. But I still wasn't too sure about it. Some time, though, I got into that state that's immediately before actual sleep, the one with random thoughts stuck into your head. And, in that state, I started to hear voices very, very clearly. Some of them were the voices of family members, arguments and other kinds of conversations. They were so clear, nothing like remembering them. After that, I started to feel afraid about the door being unlocked and I tried to got up but I couldn't. Also, the voices and arguments were localised in the room and each of them came from a different place. I think I had my eyes open at this point. Some loud thump sounds were also present.
At some point, I saw/dreamed of a silhouette near the curtains. It started coming towards the bed. It had the look of those invisible persons. Sort of like Kevin Bacon in Hollow Man (pic related).
It was speaking to me, while coming towards the bed. I don't rememberd the words. It reached my bed and remained there on the floor, in front of my legs and was still talking, but now it was more like a chanting, which I couldn't understand. It was the voice of a girl. I was losing my shit and I tried to remember various prayers in my head, those I was thought in school (prayers to Virgin Mary etc). And then I started to recite Lord's Prayer, which I used to do in childhood. I couldn't remember all of it at first, but I managed to complete it, in my mind.
And then, I "woke up". But I didn't open my eyes, as far as I remember. They were already open. It's just that the silhouette disappeared and I only saw the room.

Those never bother me, because I'm prone to having nightmares.
I've had waking dreams before, but this one was the most complex one. It was also kinda strange that it was structures, kinda like a story, with prayers and shit.
Sorry for the wall of text. I just thought it was kinda strange. It was my first time sleeping alone in a month or so, I think.
Also, after I "woke up" the 1st time, my eyes were on my roommates laptop. I was sure I had closed its lid (I usually open in and close it again, every night, because he always forgets to shut it down and it emits some annoying sounds). But now I thought it's lid was open. I jumped out of the bed kinda scared and went there. It was just the backrest of the chair. And almost at that exact moment, my laptop on the table near the curtain turned itself on. It usually does this whenever I close the lid without shutting it down. But it's strange that it did it precisely then.
I'm sane enough to know it was just a waking dream, but it was cool nonetheless

So where do you start? just now have i realized how the few have what is seemingly a loosely used word called the "occult knowledge". One night, when I was around 7, I was getting ready for bed, and I opened the basement door and I remember the vivid image in my brain of a tall, pale, skinny creature walking towards the steps leading up to me. I slammed the door and Instantly informed my sister, whobwas in the adjacent room. She checked the basement, but said she saw nothing.
Also, when I go up and down that stairway, I always see a crack in the wood, revealing a little room lit by 1 little light bulb. When I go to find it, there's nothing there.
Note: This house is very old (1920's I think) and I live in Minnesota, where lots of Indian battles took place.
Are the previously described characteristics matching to that of a skinwalker, or could it be some other creature?

The other day I decided to try meditating. I was sitting on my couch in complete silence, just watching my thoughts. After about twenty minutes I started to hear muffled speech, I continued to not focus on it, and the less I focused the clearer the voices got. It was children's voices. Two of them having a conversation about me. They started off saying things like "he's got to love hearing us" and giggling, then they started communicating in humpback whale songs. I did hear a deeper voice at one point say something like "my spine is coming out" but it was very muffled and distant sounding.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Yeah. When you meditate, you take your brain waves down. You got down lower than normal, to where you were on the verge of dreaming.
You can get the same effect if you're on the verge of falling asleep sitting up and bonk back out. You can get a scrap of partly-formed dream, usually just a few words out of context or an image.
Of course it's not impossible that it was something psychic and you were experiencing clairaudience. I just think it's the less likely explanation.

Based on the best (yet bad) theory that biology has on the origins of life, we came from a swamp like soup bowl that had the right chemicals to make proteins and those developed into RNA. Is it possible that new soup swamps have made new life, more intelligent and faster developing than us in the past 50 years without noticing?
