How do I make images with transparent backgrounds like this one? Please teach me so I don't have to keep asking people to make them.

I actually think I used to know how to do it but it was years ago so I've since forgotten. If there's a specific program I need for it I would also appreciate being spoonfed a download link.

GIMP or Photoshop, then just use a select tool or lasso and select around where you want to cut.

I ordered the components for a custom built gaming PC back in 2012 and am now looking to upgrade. I'm an amateur so I would love any input or advice. I use the PC for school and gaming-wise I run things like Skyrim, Overwatch, CSGO etc. My budget is ~$1000 CDN

Here is the current setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-V LK
GFX: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
SSD: 111GB OCZ-VERTEX3 (BOOT)
SATA: 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1CH162
POWER: 750w

I am definitely going to upgrade my chassis for aesthetic reasons, and I'm pretty sure I've decided on the Corsair CC-9011048-WW (pictured) However there is also the option of a Mini/Micro ATX version of the case which is significantly cheaper, but I'm unaware if the smaller MOBOs will fit my needs, thoughts? My current MOBO hasn't given me any problems, and I'm definitely not upgrading my CPU.

What do you think I should upgrade? Should I buy a MiniATX, regular ATX or just use my old one? Should I upgrade my RAM? What else do I need when purchasing a new chassis? Should I get 2 new SSDs or just one? Should I buy custom weaved cables? How can I tell if RGB LED strips are compatible with a MOBO or PS?

I think you should get a regular ATX again because that's what I would do. Leave ram alone if all you do is game and school stuff. If that SSD is enough for your OS then leave it alone. Don't buy custom weaved cables.

I'm thinking you will HAVE to buy new ram if you get that motherboard. Looks to me like it only supports ddr4.

these are the LED strips i've been looking at. there are others on amazon and newegg labelled as "for computers" and such but they look exactly the same as this

also do you think it is even worth upgrading my MOBO? I dont know how to tell when or if its nescessary. i havent had any problems with mine so far. also that RAM incompatibility...

off the top of your head is there anything else I would need frankensteining into a new chassis? like fans and cables? I had mine built for me from ncix

No. That motherboard seems like perfect match for the rest of your system. Only reason to replace it would be if it's malfunctioning or missing features that you need. Replacing it won't speed up your PC. I'm guessing you have plenty of ram slots left and plenty of SATA ports available.

I have no idea about those led strip things. Not sure why you'd even want those around a PC but looks like as long as you have a free molex connector on your power supply it should power up. Not certain though.

Can you post a pic of the inside of your chassis?.

How many fans on your chassis?. If they're dirt cheap I'd probably buy a $20 set of Corsair silent fans to put in it especially if you want to add or change color of glow in there.

Other than that size is the only really important thing for the motherbaord to fit. Width is a bit important if you plan on adding a tall heatsink cooler.

As shitty as my laptop is now, it's infested with a bunch of bitcoin miners and stuff. Needless to say, works like a toaster. I want to CLEAN reinstall my windows 10 without loosing my activation (so that it's genuine). Will it really identify my specs even if I reinstall the OS? If so what's the safest way?

Yes it will.

So long as you install an edition your computer actually has a license for, it will activate automatically using a key stored in your BIOS.

On a clean computer, use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to write an install USB, then boot off it and press "next" until you see the desktop.

It will then download any missing drivers for you, because it's good like that.

Looking for an anime streaming site that has a large selection of older and/or more obscure anime titles in decent-ish quality, especially from the 80s and 90s, although I'd like some newer obscure anime in there as well.

My previous go-to site for that was KissAnime, but it's down now and literally nobody knows what's happening to it or when it's gonna be back up. I tried Masterani.me and 9anime.to, but it doesn't have most of the stuff I wanna watch. Any help appreciated.

Just change your system's date and modify it again. Make sure the creation date is consistent though.
