So I need to grab the pvs for all the anime next season so I can make shitty youtube videos doing a rundown of them. I can't find a good place to download them as nyaa doesn't seem to have them. Can someone either point me in the right direction or give me a nyaa link?

I'm looking to buy myself one of those fancy smart tv's that allows you to use the internet and stuff. Quick question (maybe a dumb question): can you use such a television to access streaming websites (like kissanime) and watch anime on your tv? What about torrented anime, can you torrent anime through your tv or do you need to torrent them on your computer, put them on a USB drive and then watch them from your tv (assuming it has a USB port)?

I'm asking it here because I doubt this question belongs on either /a/ or /g/.

I can try to watch kissanime later on a smart tv in a few hours for you but its definitly impossible to do bittorrent since smart tvs only have like 1gb of space which is mostly used for 'apps'. Actually, there might be a bittorent app or some shit you can use and download to a usb plugged in but I doubt it though. Seems tedious as fuck to even if there is as you would have to navigate with a tv remote.

I was actually thinking more of torrenting an anime on my computer, putting the video files on a USB stick (or external harddrive) and linking that up to the tv. I was wondering if that'd work.

Looks like it downmixes to Dolby Digital, meaning you can get any old 5.1 and hook it up with a TOSLINK and get 5.1 out of it.

TVs that don't do that, you need to put an HDMI amp inline to grab the HDMI audio, or dangle one off the HDMI Audio Return Channel port. (You'll still have to do all that shit if you want 7.1, because 7.1 needs HDMI).

Small, Good, Cheap. Pick two.

If space is not an issue, a separate receiver, a pair of floorstanders, a center, and some bookcases for the rear. It doesn't really matter what make, because it's hard to fuck up big-ass speakers.

If space is an issue, then you can ditch the rears, use bookcases at the front, and maybe a soundbar instead of a center. But it won't sound as good.

Or you can get a boxed set of tiny speakers, and it'll sound crap, unless you spend thousands of dollars on it, in which case it can sound just as good as separates.

S/PDIF / TOSLINK is one-way, so if you want to use the external speakers only, you need to go into the menus and tell the TV you connected a TOSLINK, because it has no way to find out without you telling it.

If you really want the one you have in your image, then the one I linked is the one you'd want. It's solid and it's made from bonded stone. There's one that some other guy made but it looks tacky as heck with the gold splotches and shine that you can order from Amazon too. There's also the museum that sells them in the first place, but you'd actually have to go there to get it.

My laptop is stuck in airplane mode. It is ASUS model q225ub, with Windows 10. Tried pressing fn with f2, or print screen, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone got any other ideas?

I've been searching for two hours now but just found WMP -> Box stream, or the other way round. Either I'm too stupid to google/figure it out myself or there isn't any way.
