There's a cool thing they have on google, it's called image search. In fact, that tiny blue triangle next to your post number will lead you to it in an instant.

We should have something more than just that actually. There are plenty of sites to use to look for something, like in this case OP could've used http://whatanime.ga/ since it's reliable for anime sources. Jap fanart can usually be found via Saucenao or IQDB and other sites like TinEye & Yandex are also useful.

GIS is BUILT INTO THIS SITE, yet no-one can find it, because it's hidden behind something stupider than the burger menu.

There are better search engines than GIS, but they're not on the list.

GIS is quite good at matching images, but 4chan doesn't send it images, it sends it thumbnails because reasons.

ALL THESE PROBLEMS COULD BE FIXED IN AN HOUR'S WORK, and should be obvious to anyone that's eating their dogfood.

This isn't a problem that can be fixed with a sticky, this is a problem that needs Hiro to get off his fat arse.
