The OST and visuals combined with thoughtful platforming really elevate it above the rest of the series.
I'm looking forward to Odyssey but I hope they don't go too far with the collectathons.

I bought my copy of that at game stop which is weird because I never buy games from that shit hole. I was at the mall picking up my kids though and thought I could just pick it up while I was there and it would save me from having to order it.

The woman who rung me up was one of those types of lesbians who tries too hard to be "one of the guys". She says, and I quote, "you're gonna love this game, it's hot, I have to sit on a towel when I play it". It was hard not to violently vomit while finishing my transaction. That is the last time I ever purchased any game from a store.

2 definitely improved upon 1 in pretty much every way I can think of. Fun stealth and planning and neat gadgets, I enjoyed them

I really enjoyed 1 although some parts were debatable like expecting us to feel anything after the emo girl's death. Long live his trenchcoat.

I haven't played 2 because I don't want pop culture references everywhere and like it has been said, the playful nature of the characters really conflicts with what they do.

Every MMO has that one expansion that fucking ruins it forever and then you can never go back. EQ had planes of power, DAoC had trials of Atlantis, WoW had wrath of the lich king. It is by far the shittiest thing about MMOs.

I never really had that feeling with LotR Online, but i do not really invest a lot of time in it, only about three to four hours a week. Maybe thats why it doesnt get so dull.
Another Game ive been playing for a fuckload of time is Diablo 2 LoD. It is not an MMO, but I still play it today and it does not get boring.I Can still recommend it, even for newcomers.
