2 definitely improved upon 1 in pretty much every way I can think of. Fun stealth and planning and neat gadgets, I enjoyed them

I really enjoyed 1 although some parts were debatable like expecting us to feel anything after the emo girl's death. Long live his trenchcoat.

I haven't played 2 because I don't want pop culture references everywhere and like it has been said, the playful nature of the characters really conflicts with what they do.

>Clara sorta reminds me of my friend
>The ending is like losing her all over again

It's hands down the worst experience I've had with a game. I thought Clara would live and it would give me a sense of closure, but I just felt helpless watching it happen, knowing I was too late again.

The first game is shit. The second game has fun mechanics but it's very shallow.
Hopefully they make things actually interesting for the third one.

The biggest mistake of the series was getting rid of Aiden Pearce and I skipped WD2 because of that. Unironically one of my favorite game characters ever
