They never produced anything of value, they wanted to monetarize the only thing that makes their games even remotely enjoyable for most people (mods) and they even have the lack of decency to try again.
Their games always have so many bugs it feels like reading Silence of the Lambs. And who has to fix that? The community of course. Unofficial Patch $19.99. Doesn't that sound great?
Arena & Daggerfall = Most fanboys don't even know that these exist, but it doesn't matter since when they were easily overshadowed but other games of the era - and rightfully so.
Morrowind = Had pretty good graphics for the time. The gameplay isn't poor. The story is alright, has some ok themes. While the worldbuilding isn't too good, it's by far the most creative they ever came up with. Many people want to make you believe that this world is oh so unlike anything they could've ever imagined. Well, it's got big mushrooms everywhere - that's kinda it.
Oblivion = Had good graphics for the time. Gameplay is garbage. The leveling enemies are nothing but a bad joke, although earlier games did kinda the same thing with loot. Story sucks. They even broke their lore. It takes place in Cyrodiil in case you don't know which was establishes to be a jungle. Well you probably know it's not. One word that sums this game up perfectly - generic.
Skyrim = See Oblivion for the most part. Mind you that the graphics sucked even when this came out. They broke their lore again with this one. Skyrim was supposed to be all frozen and shit - you probably know it's not.
Fallout 3 = The original games were great. This one is garbage though. The story is a joke, gameplay is shit and they somehow managed to make it look worse than Oblivion. The art direction is good, but THEY didn't come up with it. Oh and it broke the lore, but that is to be expected at this point.
Fallout 4 = See Fallout 3. The gunplay feels a lot better this time around. That's it.

Well what is there other than that? Some generic vulcanic areas, some graslands and oh a lot of small islands. Creative.
Oh and yeah you got some mages that levitat and live in mushrooms.
Meant to to write that Morrowind's gameplay is poor btw.

It mostly happened during the GBA era. As tech got better, they could actually do straight ports.
Let's have a comfy Zelda thread (previous one died).
Few days ago i asked on this board for tips on starting with those series as i never played them before (I'm a PC and Sonyfag mostly). I finished Link to the Past and now i'm playing through OoT and i'm really enjoying them so far. Any advices on where to continue? After OoT i wanted to play MM but what after that i'm not sure.

You can go play WW and TP, but they're a bit disappointing compared to what you just played. My advice is take a break from 3d and try some of the 2d ones like LA and ST.

sounds good, faster melee should be properly configured already. There is the version linked on smashladder, but there are also newer versions available from the faster melee discord. If you are playing on ladder then just use the version from the website. We could play a bit if you're on west coast.

I'd struggle to call it a good game. But it's definitely an absurd game with a sense of humour so stupid that it's hard not to laugh and have a good time.

Isn't it a meme because some numale game journalists said it's too hard? I'm 34 and had no problem 100% crash 1 + 2 back in the 90s and I was legitimately shit at games back then. I only finished a fraction of my games.

You are getting baited by Shitposts that got started by GameJournos going "CRASH IS DARK SOULS NOW!".
If anything the remakes are actually easier due a number of changes, like the fact you can tell the amount of boxes in a stage while IN the stage in Crash 1, where the barrels will bounce in Toxic Waste due indentations in the ground and Crash 2 getting the option to change Jet Pack Controls and other QoL stuff people gloss over.

No because I didn't pre-order it (yet).
But also no because it improved on nearly everything I wanted from the last game, I'm VERY happy with it both PvP an PvE wise.
The only thing I want is a buff to melee-based builds, they should expand the AoE of the buff granted to the team upon killing an enemy with charged melee, it's too small right now to use efficiently on harder content.

In MGSV you don't play as the Big Boss but as some bodydouble, a faker who webt to facial surgery, how fucking lame is that? Doesn't anyone else have a problem with this? It's like if you played a Zelda game but the Link isn't a Link but someone who pretends to be one, that would suck. The story and the character is irrelevant and this should have been a spin off.
