It's not even Souls-like. It's like a really smooth Metroidvania. The platforming is a lot smoother and less stiff than stuff like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, or Salt and Sanctuary, and the combat is super bare bones right now, but the enemy attack patterns are fun. Some of them trick you into thinking they're dead before getting right back up

When you die theres a super Annoying "You Have Died" thing that is disgustingly Dark Souls, but everyone's bitched about it so they'll probably fix it when they implement the finisher animations

Every Persona OST aka 3, 4, and 5 is fucking magic. Nocturne and Raidou are great too. Meguro's a genius, no idea how he does it.

Sonic has always been mediocre garbage and only the original trilogy and CD were mildly decent. It's embarrassing he has such an undeserved status as an icon.

Nah it was still fun. One of the only 3ds games where having the 3d on actually helped.

But why do you WANT to have diverse characters in the first place?
It should happen organically or not at all.

Make a game that deals with a global crisis, or a community that ascends beyond the global borders as they're all working towards a common paradise.

Bioshock did this. There's people from different ethnicities and walks of life all over the place, and it's not shoehorned in at all.

Except black people. I don't remember a single black person from that game.
