You have to take into account that kiwami is just the first story, and theres not much to expand on it either, yakuza 2 is generally considered as having the best story, and kiwami 2 is looking to have some real upgrades and expansions to the OG yakuza 2

I own a Switch and it's going to be reality soon:

It's more Yokai Watch than Pokemon though. The comparison is pretty weak since the game really doesn't play like Pokemon at all other than being a monster collecting RPG.

Poor level design, plain and simple.

Because they were still experimenting with how they thought Sonic's gamplay should be, and therefore, had difficulty deciding how much speed and how much platforming should be in one level.
