Idunno. It's a lot like Phoenix Wright: I can analyze it afterwards and nitpick about stuff, but the truth is when I was playing it I had fun all the way through.
What an astonishing soundtrack though.
Now that the dust has settled, how was it?
2 was the best
the desolate hope was a thousand times better and fnaf is what is preventing scott about making a sequel

What was your favorite level in either game? In addition, what would you add/change to either game if you had limitless options?
Sneed's was probably my favorite from 2. Though I guess it was just a remix of Chuck's from the first one.
Dead Ahead is the best and you cannot convince me otherwise.
All the levels with Pardo are the best levels. I mean, he's just such a cool and likable character. No one else is brave enough to go after the monstrous Miami Mutilator. Sometimes at night I feel scared knowing that there are such maniacs out there, but I only have to remind myself that Detective Pardo is on the case to know that I am safe.
Thank you, Pardo.
With the power of the internet these days... do you miss the myths?
>>389716965
I miss cheat codes, really. That and just goofy little things like debug modes or if you did a very precise thing, something changes, like the Etecoons in Super Metroid.

i played video games by myself as a kid, i never heard any of them until i discovered the internet.

No, we still have our fair ammount of misteries
>people say system shock 2 is one of the best horror games ever
>people say system shock 2 is better than 1
I just finished 2, and the only times I remember being scared were in the cargo bays when the protocol droids are randomly waking up, and during the gauntlet into the core of the Many.
System Shock 1 was honestly more scary than 2. When I got onto the bridge in 1, I decided to take a break since I needed to mentally prepare to get to the three buttons. It was creepy crawling through a poorly lit floor covered in meaty looking metal, hearing cyborgs chatter through the walls. There's also no audio log from 2 I remember as well as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQtZPNjc2gY
Tell me /v/, do you think SS2 is better than 1? Is there a "right" way to play to best experience the horror people talk about?
I've never heard it called best "horror" game ever but I is think it has a spooky atmosphere throughout, especially considering some of the enemy designs. I do agree, though, the cargo bay is the only really scary part in my opinion. I disagree that SS1, is scarier, though. I didn't think either were especially scary and I don't think SS1 was trying to be a horror game in the first place.

I started 2 without having played 1 a few days ago, it really isn't scary at all, it's nice seeing the roots of the Bioshock formula though.
I will say that SS2 is a much more focused experience, for all the good stuff (removing useless filler) and bad stuff (NO CYBERSPACE WHAT THE FUCK) that implies. I prefer 2's level design and enemies, but many of the RPG mechanics weren't done as well as they ought to have.
But the thing that takes the cake for me is dat Thief engine. Mantling is the most "unf" platforming mechanic ever.
>fighter on the cover
>has to be the strongest
True for nearly every game ever made.

glad im not the only who think this
with enough bitching and crying from few shitters, the good cuc ks at blizzard brought me back
Blizzard is going to kill him off and replace him.
Worst character in the game. Usually better to be afk than play him since he helps the enemy team.
Unless you're a low MMR shitter then he's probably still good.
>Game launches
>Everyone considers Roadhog free ult and a wasted pick
>Blizz begins nerfing everyone into the ground
>Roadhog stood still the whole time
>Now he's considered OP to everyone

Are you buying the LWA VN on PS4/Steam? The Diana route is basically confirmed already and I'm really excited for it.
>>389716521
Maybe if it will get a western release
>>389716574
It is. Digital only tho, but we get a PC port.
>>389716521
it looks like castle crashers with lesbian witches and rpg elements, plus time travel shenanigans. i really wish it would get a physical release though.
What happened?

Normalfags happened
Focus of development resources. Infinite was focused on (visual) presentation and set pieces to the extent that other features such as interactivity were undermined.
What the fuck happened to pathologic remake? What happened to 3 protagonist?
Is there only one guy now?
What are you talking about? When did they ever even come close to hinting that they weren't going to have the 3 protagonists?

Sequel is releasing next week. You're in luck.
It's not an rpg.
>Square Enix Targeting PS5, Xbox 2 for Next Big Project
>With Final Fantasy XV will into its milking phase, Square Enix is already thinking about what's ahead. No doubt we'll get one of the most technically advanced and gorgeous-looking RPGs ever when Final Fantasy XV finally releases on PC, but Square Enix is already thinking beyond that. In fact, Final Fantasy XV on PC is only reaching up to about the half-way point of what Square Enix hopes to achieve on next-gen consoles. This, according to a recent interview from DualShockers.

> most technically advanced and gorgeous-looking RPGs ever when Final Fantasy XV finally releases on PC,
LOL
Perhaps they ought to target the existing hardware they could barely get their flagship game running 30fps on while looking rather bad in a lot of places.
