MGSV was outright the best game I've ever played. After that, every other game felt bland and underwhelming. Games started to feel transparent and gimmicky.

Like how in story mode you could hold a button and get a special instantly. Make noob only rooms that let people dick around like that, then when they are hooked they can learn the game for real and join the rest of us.

Bring back a returning character instead of characters from other games.
Also put in a mode where people can see the frames on moves. Having PC only have it in the shape of a mod is just dumb.

Story is okay so far. Simpler than most of Nasu's work( i suppose it can't be helped being a musou and all ) but the writing still have that edge his fans like so much.
You really should play Extra first tho. The game give you some summaries explaining what happened in the past games, but shit is really convoluted if you didn't played them first.

looks like dq 8 to me minus the va but i honestly could care less about all that. game looks gorgeous and its that sweet turn based simple shit that we need right now and is the only thing dragon quest should be. so amped to play this in a year hopefully
