I'm wracking my brain trying to remember some scratch paper Etch-a-Sketch thing that I'd always see a commercial for in the 90's but can't remember the name of. It looked cool, and I always wanted one. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
Pic related is a shitty recreation of how it looked in the commercial.

Thanks a ton, Anon.
I'm a bit sad it apparently sucked so much, but such is life.
Reminder that Presto Magix was a thing.
What went wrong?
The last time that people played marbles was 1820.
I'm surprised it went right at all. It was, what, 8 bucks for a single Bakugan? When Transformers were still that much for a Scout-class?
Monsuno's about the same situation, a high-cost, low-quality 'toy' that's being shilled as part of a barely thought out game.
It kept going back in Japan, made pretty cool new Bakugans with different gimmicks, so I think it went as far as it could go and was successful among the million collect and battle toys.
And current Minicons are practically Bakugans so I don't care it's over.
I've never owned a PAK before, so I apologize for asking a dumb question, but do they ever get re-released? I'd love to have this guy but I'm apprehensive about paying more than retail given that I've heard horror stories about PAKs breaking easily and having bad QC.
>>5807511
>I've never owned a PAK before
And you should remain like that.
>>5807851
It's a meme to think they are all bad.
I've got a Batman and Tali pak and they are both very nice. Off the top of my head the Halo 2 anniversary pak is one of the best Halo figures ever.
>>5807511
>but do they ever get re-released?
Very rarely. Mostly never.

Any garage kit sculpters here? Looking for sci-fi.
Recently, I've finished building Tamiya's M1A2 Abrams and I plan on painting it in NATO tricolor. However, the paints that the kit recommends for this are all seemingly unique, XF-67 "NATO Green", XF-68 "NATO Brown", and XF-69 "NATO Black" have no comparable paints on the big conversion chart. What are good substitutes for these?
>>5807521
Conversions to what?
Faintly...

Is that a figma? I assume due to the stand.

Yes.
Post pictures of Bootleg Toys here.
I'll do both I guess.
Why the fuck do we have to keep doing these? It's the same goddamn pictures every thread.
Just save them and look through the folder instead of shitting up the board with crap like this.
Does anyone know where I can find SEPTA model trains in the HO scale? I am a Philly local and have already tried Island model works (not impressed).
Google, yellow pages. Pretty much the same things anyone here would look at to find your answer. You should do your own legwork on this.
Stop being a nigger and do some research instead of expecting to be spoonfed like anyone here cares about H0

Guys, help me out here, please. I have no arms and I can't read. I wouldn't even ba able to post this here if it weren't for OK Google™® voice to text. I have to get my neighbor to come over from down the street to read the replies to me, and she's getting pissed that I keep calling her and no one is being helpful.
So, opinions on the new Titans Return Leader Class Soundwave?

Why can't you freaks stay in your containment thread?

OP's a faggot for posting this, but you're a faggot for reacting.
im going to japan soon, and want to know what toy places are in tokyo that i should go to. i know mandarake is a must see, any others?
>>5818431
Akihabara and Nakano Broadway are both the best places to buy toys. You could nitpick and point out other random places but these two have all beat in regards to supply and prices.
>>5818431
Besides toys you should go checkout some of their maid cafe , and maybe one of those akb stage shows
>>5818431
check out the Pokemon Center if you like Pokemon. Cool store
Why are Jap figures and dolls so much better looking and cuter than Murican shit? Seriously, if I had this cute-ass shit like Nendos and BJDs back when I was growing up I would've never grown out of toys!
Americans just suck at design, how on earth could anyone with taste find shit like Barbies and Funko POPs visually appealing? Why do Muricans and normies eat up this crap?
Dude, that Barbie on the left costs how much?
30$?
The BJD on the right is a nicely customized Volks which costs several hundred dollars, was hand-painted and probably wears eyes that cost more than the Barbie itself.
Left one is supposed to be a true toy.
It's supposed to be handled by children, played with, withstand some rough handling, needs to be easily mass-produced and so on.
On the right you have a hand made resin doll in 1/3, fully customized and made by one of the more expensive BJD companies, for adult collectors.
Two totally different things.
At least pick a similar fashion doll from Japan and not some high-end, huge, fully customizable doll.
>>5818102
adding:
You are an adult collector.
How many of the things you collect from japanese toy companies (like Nendos, Figmas and co.) are supposed to be for children?
I doubt a Figma is a regular action figure for a six year old in Japan.
Most of the popular Western toys are made for children though, why do people still expect these toys to be close in quality to adult collectables?
>>5818102
Fail, cause Licca-chan dolls which are the equivalent to Barbies over in Japan STILL look much better and cuter, sorry but its time to face facts: Muricans suck at design.
If you don't think it's worth paying extra for the Takara version, don't. It really is that simple.

Network regime changes happen all the time. But when it happens in the middle of your show... It sucks.

I thought some of those Star Wars lego Space ships sold for over $400 on ebay a few years back. I remember a thread about it on /toy.
>>5817221
Vintage Star Wars is that and even more expensive depending on the item of it. Certain Variations of Farmboy Luke are worth 100's more than others.
My collection has gotten so big that I keep half the stuff in my storage closet. What do I get rid of /toy/?
Getting rid of the doubles, for one.
If your space is that small, you should consider collecting only 1-2 things.
Well this is a subtle thread about the most common taste people on this board have.
>>5816586
Get rid of flavour of the month that you impulse bought.
Not just the little minifigures, entire sets. A lot of pieces for really cheap.

Does anyone know a good place to sell Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Doctor Who figures online?
pic unrelated
>>5816242
What are you looking to sell and where are you?
>>5816258
In the Tampa, Florida area. Have some mint figures in the box (spike from buffy, angel, a dalek from doctor who). If you'd like i can get pics/inventory.
>>5816265
I'm only after classic Daleks and I'm from the UK.
As for places to sell. Ebay, >>>/toy/bst or maybe local facebook bst groups
