So /toy/soldiers, do you figures have you been putting off buying for one reason or another? Maybe a line you've been hesitating on getting into?
Let's talk about it.
None of them are particularly expensive or anything, but some figures I'm interested in but haven't picked up yet would be Revoltech Snake, Vic Viper, Jehuty, and Jason, figma Michael Jackson, Miku, Yugi and Konata, those Mother 2 gashapon figures, D-Arts Zero type 2, and D-Arts X.
Mostly just the older MOTUC releases that are way too inflated in price on ebay to justify. Scareglow, Fisto, Snake Men, Jitsu, Horde Troopers, Kobra Khan. Super7 is where my hope rests.

Pretty much everything I'm mildly interested in but haven't bought is in that category because it's super expensive. I'd love to pick up the FMA revoltechs, for example, but they're an arm and a leg and maybe weren't that great anyway? Ditto with your pic.

This thread concept might work with building model kits maybe, but for most toys? It really doesn't work. If we've put off buying things its for more important reasons than sloth/procrastination.

Not OP, but, yeah, I see your point.
However, when I do buy something, it's after I've really thought it out. But once in a while a "spur of the moment " thought will pop up, and i'll think about it for a while.
If I decide yes, I'll go ahead and buy it, if not, then I pass. But once in a while I'll get something stuck in my craw, and it will pop up from time to time.
There;s a hand full of figures I have put on hold, but every once in a while, they'll pop up and get me thinking again. "Should I/Shouldn't I?"
It seems to be a common thing with collectors of all sorts.
Some of the Star Wars HotToys, because of this and Carrie Fisher dying I will never have Leia which sucks. Also still need to snag quiet a few Avengers and Star Wars SHFs.

I Need to get the two new figuarts turtles, but I'm waiting to see if I can get as good a deal on them as I did for Leo and Donny.

I have stopped collecting SAS figures until they put together a satisfying cast for parts 6 and 7 or the overall quality improves.
I doubt I will buy many more unless a Foo Fighers is announced or the part 7 boys are good.
I missed pre-order for RD Ingram and have a hard time justifying the $60-70 price. I have a backlog of Takeya SICs I've been meaning to getto complete my collection but at this point I'm enjoying building gunpla.

A Shitload of TMNT stuff. It's not so much putting it off....I just can't afford it.
>Revo Turtles
>Figarts Turtles
>NECA Arcade Turtles
>Catching up on Classics releases
>Figma Table Museum
>Takeya Buddha figs
>Keeping up with NECA Terminator figures
Basically zero toy budget while I'm in Grad School so I just watch time go by and likely all of their prices will keep going up. Feelsbadman.jpeg
