Maybe if you'd actually try to do what OP suggests, instead of snapping a shitty pic of any old thing lying around, then giving a lazy "muh potato camera/i need better lights/I tried" excuse, you wouldn't have to deal with it.

How legit is Goodwill's auction site? I found an 18" movie Spiderman that I've been searching for years but can't get it for under $100. It's $9 without any bids. What am I in for?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>6242869
Just like a real Goodwill, they may mislabel or not inspect everything as much as you want.
>>
>>6242869

If it is something you've been searching for for years, and can't find for under $100, I'd say $10 is worth the risk either way.
>>
>>6242869
Usually legit but a lot of people know about it in the last four or so years and so prices can sometimes be higher than they should be.

If you're looking for mint packaging stuff, it's really rare you get that because the shipping and packaging on some Goodwills can be pretty bad.

Good taste in Jojos.
Do you want the RAH or the SAS?
Also have you tried looking on Mandarake yet?
>>

I'm just getting into toys and have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. explain please?
>>
>>6240700
I kind of got the feeling.
The RAH (or Real Action Heroes) figure is a doll style thing, while the SAS (or Super Action Statue) is a more traditional action figure.

Mandarake is a Japanese import store that sells toys.

It's fake on virtue of that spelling error alone.
>>

That doesn't mean anything, Mattel wouldn't care enough to make sure spelling is 100% right on some internal document.

If anything these make me question it.
>Brachiosaurus
>Playsets

I know it's mattel and they will suck regardless, but it's hard to beleive a comoany will be putting out stuff like playsets this day and age. and Brachiosaurus? Unless it turns out to be some kind of spoiler that Brachiosaurus plays a big role in the upcoming movie, who on earth can expect a big company to give the Ok on a 'boring' herbivore like Brach?

For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

what does /toy/ think of small soldiers? where the actually toys any good?
30 posts and 5 images submitted.
>>
>>6239403
I have a few.

Not particularly great. They have the detail like from the movie, to an extent. But they have almost no articulation. We're talking single swivel at shoulders and hips and heads.

Accessories were pretty lame.

Still, I like them and keep them because the movie was fun and they match.
>>
>>6239403
The toys are neat but kind of sad because they have fake cuts and joints molded into the plastic, taunting you with what could have been
>>
>>6239403

Love them, articulation and all. I actually have all of them except for the battle changing figures (because they go for hundreds of dollars) and Flatchoo

>Mandarake, Rakuten - search 武装神姫 and don't trust listing images.
>Yahoo Japan Auctions, Suruga-ya - you'll need a proxy if you’re not in Japan.
>Taobao - some shops ship international now, so you might not need a proxy.

Asking again because I didn't realize old thread was so close to dead.

I want to make some 1/12 boxes for an otaku diorama. Anyone here have papercraft for things like shinki or fag boxes, or onaholes or hitachis or things like that?

Also, any good regular cardboard box papercrafts? I can very easily clean up and edit the Mandarake or amiami labels onto those.
>>
How interchangable are the Frame Arms and FAGs? In specific, I really want to use the Rapier's high heel legs on a custom idea I'm working on, but I don't know if it will just attach on its own, or how much I'll need to customize it to make it work.
