Slow it down anon and wait until the thread is at 9 or at best, hits the archives. /toy/ is slow as shit and you didn't even connect the thread correctly. Did you just want to do your own OP?

I've done the last 4 threads. I know /toy/ is slow but SAS aren't as slow

I give you that I linked the thread wrong though sorry
>>
>>6246759
>SAS aren't slow

You could've waited still seeing how posts just come and go and the only major drop coming is Toyohisa from Drifters. I know this a bit silly to argue about on a toy board but Page 6 and even 7 without hitting image limit still retains a lot of use before archive and expiration and this would seem rushed out. Even messing up the link would have idiots rushing out a thread causing two generals to show up and I've seen it.

most parcel posts have a minimum weight threshold, like 2lbs. or the post can just weigh them when you bring them in for shipment

I think it usually says the weight on the site you buy it on

Find the product on Amazon or other official site like TRU and you should be able to find some weights. and Deminsions.

What are some good YGO figures? Preferably posable ones. Is there a decent offering?
44 posts and 15 images submitted.

Not really.

There's a revoltech of the Dark Magician based off the art in your image, and a figma of DMG based off the regular art. There's also revoltechs of Yugi and Kaiba and a figma of Atem.

That's about it for quality offerings as far as I know.

I was just looking at these the other dark. DM looks pretty cool but I'm not really a fan of how BEWD looks.

I've been having massive nostalgia wave because I've been playing that duel links game. Anyone else wish they would update the cards with some MtG-tier artwork? It would make the game not feel as silly.

Has anybody here ever worked with a 3D printer to build custom figures or figurines? Share your experiences!
29 posts and 10 images submitted.
>>
I know how to make mechanical stuff in 3D but I'm not very artistic, so even with 15 years of experience I can't design a typical action figure. I have done some fairly rudimentary things and printed them just to test out the process, but the results were mediocre and would have taken a lot of hands on finishing to make it look presentable so I never bothered. I worked hands on with an older Dimension SST extruder and some ZCorp single color powder based job, and tried print-on-demand online services a few times for higher detail prints that still disappointed me.

Basically I'm too autistic to settle for what machines are currently capable of printing, but not autistic enough to put in the back end effort to take them from printed junk to nice looking custom toys. I've seen very few people go that far. Most makers are happy with rough raw prints or acetone smoothing.

Cant we just have replicators already? That's what people think of when they hear about 3D printers.
>>
>>6245804
Agreed on the replicator, it's almost 2020. What the hell.

I'm more artistic than mechanically trained, so I know it'll be trial and error for a bit, but I'm willing to put the work in to polish a piece up. I might make casts and mold it with a stronger silicone based material. But I'm still in the process of trying to pick a printer. M3D looks promising, but it could just be flashy advertising.
>>
>>6245810
>I might make casts and mold it with a stronger silicone based material.
This is the correct route. Know that whatever printer you buy will be the low resolution starting point primarily saving you from sculpting the 1st draft from scratch, and just rely on your skill and craftsmanship to complete the process.

This got pushed to the fall? I thought it was going to be summer.
>>

According to Grnrngr's site it's part of the fall assortment. He's been doing this a long time and is anal about putting out false info so I trust him. Though fall assortment stuff often ends up coming out during the summer, so that's probably why the Bandai person said summer off the cuff.

Disappointing figures general?

This guy right here. While I'm not a huge fan of the games, I love the design of this suit. The figure I got is an absolute mess in terms of QC. Sloppy paint, gauntlet spikes warped beyond repair. And the articulation sucks. Double jointed knees are all fine and dandy but he can barely bend his elbows up to 45 degrees, it makes him so much less fun to pose.
>>
>>6241200
Really?Dont own the figure myself, only heard good things about him until now, even thought about picking him up myself.Well then...

If you can get him cheap (and you don't get one with shitty QC) he still looks pretty good on a shelf, just don't expect league of shadows level ninja articulation from him.

Honestly it's probably not that bad but I've been spoiled by import figures.
