How did toy collectors of old do it? I can't imagine going to Toys R Us as the fat neckbeard I am and regularly buying a bunch of children's toys. I can't imagine how boring it must have been to hunt down toys through a bunch of small stores throughout the city and calling people out of state/country if those stores didn't have what you were looking for. I can't imagine making small talk with people at work and have them ask "so what do you like to do on your off hours, anon?"
This is truly the golden age for our kind.

Hey /toy/. What are your thoughts on Kubrick? I've been thinking about buying these guys for a while now, as a big fan of Daft Punk I've really been wanting to. As this is my first time buying Kubricks, would you say these two are worth >$110? I really love the designs of them and want something cool to put on my book shelf or next to my record player. No the leg I've had no trouble with the head joints.
Update, I've found why it broke the paint on the underside piece got on the joint and it was already sticky tight

Hey all,
Recently got out of a pretty bad place and now I'm financially settled and making good money. I want to start buying figures again, and there are a few things I was coveting - I was wondering if you guys could help me out with market prices and finding these things.
First thing - I really want the 1000toys 1/6 Synthetic Human. Realistically, what do these things sell for? I'm fine buying used. I don't really want to settle for the 1:12, but I really don't want to be paying more than 400-500 for it.
