Become The Vampire 30
You spend the next hour goofing off with Meliora, Andrea and Athena, playing video games and having tickle fights. Sammy sits on the sidelines with Jennifer, and occasionally you catch them whispering things back and forth to each other. It doesn't bug you too much, since it seems like Sammy is calming down, but you note it anyway. As you wrap up the second part of your tournament Sammy and Jennifer move closer and sit with you, and the tournament quickly turns into a six-way, all out brawl.
You manage to emerge victorious, but your victory is cut short when Athena begins to cry. She sniffles and sulks, hiding under a blanket, and when you go to comfort her she shies away from you. Jennifer gently pushes you aside and slips under the blanket with Athena, and you sit back a bit, listening.
“Are you mad that your daddy beat you at the game?”
“Yes...”
“Aww. Well, I'm sure he didn't do it to be mean. I bet you really wanted to win though, didn't you.”
“Uh-huh...”
“Well, if you come back out and play again, maybe we can beat him together. What do you think? Should we team up? It'll be you and me against your daddy, and then everyone else can pick teams too.”
“Okay...”
Jennifer emerges from under the blanket with Athena, who gives you a determined smile, wiping her eyes. Jennifer crosses her arms in front of her chest.
“We challenge you, Oliver. We're going to take you down.”
Athena grins.
“Yeah!”
Athena points her finger at you, before grabbing her controller. Jennifer giggles and picks up hers, sitting beside Athena.

Same system as Become The Dragon Quest. If you don't know what that is, it's best of three d20 rolls. I name a stat that sums up what you're trying to do, and if I don't name a relevant skill, you try to fill in the blank based on what you're trying to accomplish. “Break open the door” might be Strength based, but if you've been playing baseball after school and there's a lead pipe nearby, you could apply your Baseball skill to the roll. A 20 on the die is a crit threat, and if either of the other two rolls is 20 or higher after mods, it's a critical. A crit fail is when you have two or more 1s. So far this system has worked out well enough. We'll get into combat rules as needed, but in basic terms you have wounds, not HP, and the worse the wounds, the more penalties you accrue while doing other things.

With that job done, you take a deep breath, lean your head forward to perch on the tips of your steepled fingers, and close your eyes, thinking. There's the other half of your promise to keep.
Time, you think. Time, and space. You think back to the post-battle round table; England's insistence that staying reactionary would lose humanity the war by inches, and your presenting Hate's suicidal live-capture idea. At the Bonins you narrowly managed to slip from between the hammer and the anvil - and it nearly came unraveled anyways, saved at the last second by Hamp and his fresh firepower. On the back foot, you can only dodge and parry and sneak in the occasional riposte - what you're seeking now is data, information, actionable intelligence. You need to know your enemy in order that you might *strike* him, hurt him - crush him. Find where they live and hit them there, as they've hit humanity. You're going on the offensive, in other words.
Time and Space are all fine and good - but soon you'll need raw, brutal Force.
You'll need Yamato.
You think through a few possibilities - the first is to use your CAC card and go through normal channels; CIA, DIA, NSA, all the other alphabet agencies - but that takes time, quite a bit of time, and will drag in all sorts of names and desks more likely to say NYET than DA, especially since it might trip over already active ops and interests of those own agencies in Japan. You could call Parker and see if any of the dozens of high-tech NSA cell-phone snooping toys invented over the past few years are in his toybox - you seem adept at pissing these clowns off, and maybe they'll slip up and say something on a supposedly-secured line - but you rule that out as the exact kind of risk tactic that had Admiral Thomas breathing fire up your ass earlier.

A Rear Admiral, one-star would likely command a small force of one or two divisions; and his flagship would almost certainly be a heavy cruiser - and Hamp knows it.
The door rattles open without warning, a stern-looknig Kirishima striding in with her mouth already open, the light reflecting from her glasses at just the right angle to make them opaque.
“SETTLE.”

You shake your head and beckon Hamp out of the conference room quietly. With your bodyguard in tow you slip through the building as fast as possible, not bothering to make an excuse to Shoukaku and the rest - not *daring* to look Shoukaku in the eye. They all heard when Arizona put her fist through the plaster and Shoukaku isn't stupid. She doesn't miss much, and she'd notice the guilt in your eyes right away.
It's time to cut your losses and run like with your tail between your legs - before you fuck things up worse.
Afore long you're slinking into your office. Hamp pushes a few unpacked boxes in one corner together and promply reclines on them, somehow managing to look comfortable as he sips his damned Starbucks sideways.
Naka's sitting at your desk, face turned down to her paperwork. She doesn't seem to notice your entry till you're pulling out the guest chair to sit down across from her. She looks up -
- and you twitch, arresting the urge to spring to your feet again. Naka's youthful face is pale and drawn, faint dark circles of exhaustion showing through the makeup - but it's her eyes that stop your heart for a beat; so distant that their usual depths seem a mere crevasse now, yawning and empty.
She blinks, focusing on you - and then she's back. Tired, weak - but back. “... Admiral?”
“.. eh?”
She forces a smile onto her face and holds it there, just for you. “You look like you've seen a ghost.”
You force a chuckle of your own out. “You must be tired if you're handing me lines like that.”
Her smile warms a little. “Just charitable.”

That sounds like pure bullshit. In the last block, none of the tutors were mono-Blue. Unless you're using some weird definition of "tutor" to mean "tutor without any restriction". A tutor is just something that searches for a card in your library, regardless of the restrictions placed on it.

I'm actually all for seeing Green get polymorph. I'm also all for seeing Blue lose it's bullshit one-way exile under the lazy pretense that it's "fixing" Pognify-style polymorph. Stop being lazy and biased for Blue, Maro.

Hello and welcome back to Mortal Kombat Konquest!
When we last left our hero, he was catching up on events he missed during a particularly long nap, one that took twenty years. With all of his former allies now two decades older and with families of their own, Kaito has a lot to take in. After spending some time with Johnny and his daughter Cassie, he went to Arctika to visit Sub-Zero and his new Lin Kuei.

After spending another day with the Lin Kuei and training some more with Zian (and using some of his healing ability to ensure that the young cryomancer's leg is unharmed), Kaito decides that it is time to leave. Sub-Zero, Sareena, Zian and Smoke come to see him off, though Smoke's daughter is absent.
"Can we expect you again soon?" Sareena asks.
"I'll be able to visit whenever I please as soon as I get my boat back," Kaito replies. He looks at Sub-Zero, who nods.
"You are welcome at our temple any time," he says with a warm smile, which Kaito finds a bit ironic due to his mastery of cold.
"Sub-Zero and I will consider what you have told us," Smoke adds. Earlier that day, Kaito met with Sub-Zero and Smoke in private and described to them Johnny Cage's plan for a new generation of the Defenders of the Realm. Though Sub-Zero seemed to be intrigued by the idea, especially since it would mean broadening his son's horizons, Smoke was more hesitant. Kaito can only guess as to the cause of his hesitation, but it must have something to do with Vapor.
After saying goodbyes to his old and new friends, Kaito calls for Raiden. He appears in person this time, and the Lin Kuei bow before him. He urges them to rise and exchanges brief words with Sub-Zero before taking Kaito back to the Sky Temple.
As Kaito explains to Raiden that he desires to visit the Shaolin next, Raiden says that he will accompany him. Together they both vanish in a flash of light. When they appear in China, the sky is bright with the morning sun. Raiden is once more wearing a familiar straw hat and a dark blue robe around his shoulders, looking almost like a begger.
Before them lies the entrance to the rebuilt Wu Shi Academy.

As the pair approach the main gate, two monks in orange robes stand guard. One of them looks up and is about to speak, but immediately recognizes Raiden and bows, as does his fellow monk. They are able to pass through the gate unhindered.
"Must be nice," Kaito says.
"I was watching your reception at the Lin Kuei temple. I thought you might prefer easier passage."
They are met within the inner courtyard by a slightly older monk, who bows to Raiden. "Lord Raiden, your presence graces us."
Raiden urges him to stand. "I shall not remain for long. I am here with my friend. Please, attend to him and make him feel comfortable during his stay at the academy."
The monk bows his head once more and Raiden looks at Kaito. "I would like to take a walk."
Kaito is about to ask why when Raiden turns around and strolls off into the nearby gardens. He may be much more mellow than twenty years ago, but he's just as arbitrary.
"Greetings," the monk says, bowing his head to Kaito. "I am Guy Lai. How may I help you, honored visitor?"

Post any art requests you have ITT. Keep in mind, the drawfriends are doing this for free, so do not be surprised or upset if they gloss over your post. Just be patient, and bump your request ONE time, every 24 hours after posting it. Don't be a jerk and immediately repost your request because you don't like the FREE art you received.
Additionally, please provide good, detailed references (pictures are better than vernal descriptions), so the artists know what you're looking for as best you can.
If you've recently had a request filled by a drawfriend, please be considerate of less fortunate anons and hold off on additional requests for a while.
Mind your manners, don't be rude to other people's requests, and remember to say thank you!

Requesting a Disco pirate, he wears a purple jacket like the one in the pic but he keeps it open and he has a lepord skinned shirt, he wears shades but you can still see his eyes through them. He has a force like power that goes like this : (The user can absorb the impact given to him from any kind of attack like swords,hammers, guns, etc. and send it right back to the enemy it can also send force push like attacks and at max power it can destroy a house, but to do that he has to be very injured.) He also loves to dance and would rather do that then fight.

Since FoW is getting popular because "insert reason here" and Magic is getting less new players, lets discuss the current pro vs cons from each game.
FoW:
Pros:
> Cheap to get into the game
> Rules are not so complicated (since there is a library for Lands and another library for the rest of your spells, you will never get mana screwed and the game have some mechanics from old WoW TCG and MtG.
> The number of players is increasing so there will be more places to play tourneys.
Cons:
> The fucking weeb art (like 75% of it tho some of them looks less weeb).
MtG:
Pros:
> Have many formats in the game.
> Tons of cards with lot of mechanics from many expansion, allowing the player to choose many strategies and style of play.
> Got cool art (noot weeb oriented).
>Got an online mode if you are not into playing with real cards in a LGS (tho the interface is shit).
Cons:
> The barrier to enter into the game is high in all formats and modes atm because of the secondary market.
> The R&D is decreasing the power of newer sets, making almost imposible to see a reprint of a powerful card from last expansions or getting new cards playable in other formats.
