This thread is for celebrating all the liars and the dirty dirty cheats of the Astartes. The chapters who realize that a couple thousand civilian losses really don't mean anything in the grand scope of the Imperium, and that abiding by codes of etiquette and honor is nothing but a waste of precious time.
>>44730585
So... This thread is about the Marines Malevolent then?
These fucking assholes, the Minotaurs, probably moreso in their pic related first incarnation.
Whatever the fuck is wrong with their geneseed, it turns them to a degree of berserker that even khorne-affiliates come to respect, and nowadays they're used as a blunt instrument of the imperial senat to squish rebellious elements of other chapters. They operate mainly as a whole chapter. They WILL personally slaughter most of the stuff that stands between them and their objective, rage-stampede style.

Forgot pic
I haven't seen a WHFB thread in weeks (if not months) and it's worrying me.
Has Age of Sigmar been that demoralizing? Is Warhammer Fantasy dead in everybody's or something? Is this it, has GW finally broken /tg/?
>>44730487
There've been ones pretty much every day. You do use the catalog, don't you?
>>44730719
Do you mean the roleplay threads?
>Playing Pathfinder
>Not a particularly good system but I like my friends
>Playing a CN cleric worshiping a CE deity (good of war)
>Be in the king's throne room
>Guard comes in, says demons are attacking the city walls
>King orders castle gates shut and man the towers
>The whole city is outside the castle gates
>Convince king to bring in masses, be at the gates as people are being let in
>Party is fighting off demons while evacuation is happening
>GM congratulates party in making right choice and not being murderhobos
>Moves alignment to NG
What the shit?!
>Lose all divine class features
>Lose all spells
What the shit!
MFW I'm dead
Find a new god or play you're alignment.
And were you actively involved in saving the people? Being CN doesn't mean you have no alignment.
>>44729816
This is why I never play Clerics.
>>44729816
This is why you should always talk to your GM so you understand each other's point of view and avoid ruining each other's fun/plans.
>Dwarves
>Jews
No setting does this except the hobbit
>>44729552
Okay.
You noticed? Good job.
Is there some discussion you wanted to start?
>>44729552
>what is Dragon Age
they're literally called a "merchant race" too

I don't think any in particular are strictly necessary as long as enough of them are there.
Not sure how new any of it is but I got some shit.
This shit is retarded
>>44728420
Yeah whoever took that picture really should've taken five seconds to rotate it.
>>44728420
The fact you almost broke my neck with this pic is retarded yes, aside from that the werebat thing is just ugly and the werebear don't seems to have any physical attributes of a bear. Where does this comme from,

RESPECT MY PRONOUNS, GOYIM
"As you clear the treeline and emerge into the fog-swathed valley floor, the moldering black tooth of the ancient keep looms through the mists, about a half mile off.
Between your party and the crumbling steps to the hold, a full army of skeletal figures stand silently. There is no movement, and the valley lays hushed save for the creaking of bones and the flapping of moth-eaten banners.
The tales say the army of the damned has stood silent for 100 years. But knowing you must walk among them to reach the keep and the necromancer within, your blood runs cold."
>>44728329
So like... the last part of Silent Hill with the nurses... only with skellingtons?
>Spooky
>Scary
Choose 1
>>44728329
Why did you just decide my character's blood runs cold?
What do you think traditional games will look like in the future?
>>44728316
Traditional
>>44728327
How traditional are we talking here?
>>44728327
>your players reach a deep and wide underground lake that is too treacherous to swim
>their minor side quest objective is on the other side
>leave the cave and spend the next four in-game days painstakingly constructing a boat from nearby timber instead of going to the nearby town and acquiring one through good roleplay
>whole process takes thirty seconds in irl time
How do you go about preventing this kind of situation? I like to use a main quest with some kind of time constraint:
- giant meteor hurtling towards earth
- foreign king giving a deadline for treaty conditions to be met before he invades with his crushingly powerful army
- party is under a curse that weakens or kills them over time
- kidnapped loved ones sentenced for execution on a certain date
- etc
Share your ideas or workarounds.
Confront them with small nasty things that might come up (hurting but not dangerous insect stings, weather, lack of a shower/sanitation etc.) . Ask them to roleplay their boredom while doing boring things. This roleplay should influence XP influx.
>>44728210
Why punish your players like that if there's no real urgency then why the hell can't they build there own boat its a great team building exercise.
Buying a boat is not much roleplay at all.
>go to village
>it's tiny
>there are two fishermen who hate each other
>their boats are their livelihood
>have to pay a retarded gp price or somehow convince these stubborn rednecks to give it to you cheap
>somehow obtain boat
>figure out how to transport it across two miles of dense forest to the cave dungeon
OR
>say "we build a boat"
>have a boat
which one requires more roleplay?
Why didn't the Emperor make better use of the Edge Lords? A Legion that can predict the future seems pretty damn useful. He should have at least tried to help Curze with his obvious mental issues.
Because they were to edgy... GOODBYE PEOPLE THAT WAS MY TIME!
Because the Horus Heresy series was a mistake and the fluff coming from it is pants-on-head retarded.
>>44727914
Because Curze was basically a self-fulfilling prophecy.
>HELLbrute
>HELLhound
>HELL Pit Abonimation
>HELLgun
>mfw hell doesn't exist in Warhammer Lore
>>44727334

>>44727334
It obviously does as a descriptive word.
>>44727334
>hell doesn't exist in Warhammer lore
I'll take, "Geographical Locations" for 250, Alex.
>This area is the northern most region in Warhammer Fantasy and is home of the Norsca.
What are "The Chaos Wastes"?
>Correct. And it's the Daily Double!
I'll bet all the money, forever.
>This region of space is home to the estimated location of the Altansar Eldar Craftworld.
What is "The Eye of Terror?"
DING DING DING
I'M THE FUCKING WINNER
I'm going to move far from home next period and I want to continue my ongoing campaigns. Is Skype valid for roleplaying online? Is there something better?
Skype works great. You'll probably want a virtual tabletop to go with it - Roll20 is easy and popular, though not all that sophisticated.
>>44727254
Roll20, but if you pick your group from someone else than Roll20.
>>44727254
>skype is unacceptable!
Only roll20.net is valid. Those are the rules.
>pick a system
>pick a class
>build a Bowie
