Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild! Now then, first order of business, because I find this hilarious. The fighters guild is petitioning for us to shut down our Department of Muscle Wizardry, claiming, and I quote "It isn't fair that wizards get all the nice things." I know, I know, it's great. SHOULD HAVE PICKED UP A BOOK, JOCKS! But anyway, turns out that they've got some sway or something, I don't know. Obviously, we're not shutting down the Muscle Wizard department, so we're either going to have to fold them into something else, or just rename them.

And before I forget, congratulations to Abgerth the Abominable on his five hundredth ressurection. We all though he would stop after one hundred, but look where he is now.

Alright, so this is the 7th story of the OPMUQ so far. I usually like to keep these threads self contained so anyone can enjoy them, though there are often some references to older threads thrown in.

You are Gale Graves, an elf trickster who uses his magic to fill the lives of others with misery. Recently however you have been contacted by an old lover, turns out you're a father. Lots of planning and preparation has lead to this day, the day your daughter Elizabeth will be visiting you for the first time. You're not exactly sure what you plan to do today, but one thing is for certain, you will show Elizabeth you are the greatest father a young half-elf could ask for!

There is a knock at the door to your mushroom home. you answer it to find the young Elizabeth, no older than 9 from the looks of it, though you can never be too certain with half elves. Her mother, Karen, stands next to her and hands you a list of approved activities. You smile and wave goodbye as Karen leaves. Elizabeth is very nervous and quiet as you close the door and burn the list of activities.

"Alright Elizabeth, what shall we do today?"

"I want to see horses." She responds.

For any new comers, as a magic user your powers are practically infinite but also extremely unreliable.

Good afternoon, boys and girls. It's time to resume our civ game.

Let's start with a quick recap of what we have so far.

>We are the Unseen. A race living in a massive underground cave. While physically weak and poor combatants, we're gifted diplomats and have a natural talent for learning illusion magic. Our cave opens up to a dense jungle, from which we can harvest many materials, including edible fruit and a variety of poisonous plants. We've also managed to tame some of the monkeys living in this jungle, but so far they've proven useless as anything but cute pets. We've fortified the entrance to our cave with a primitive earthen wall, and camouflaged it with leaves and illusion spells.

>During our early exploration missions, attempting to learn more about the world outside of our cave, we discovered a group of large, four-legged creatures near a river to the north. During an attempt to hunt these creatures, we unfortunately lost the life of our master illusionist. Though we've since trained a number of replacements, none of them can yet match the skill of the original.

>Our last, and perhaps most important, action in the last thread was to make contact with another sapient race, the Scorpion-People. Though the language barrier was a massive issue, the unmatched skill of our diplomats, backed up by our illusionist and the blessing of the dice gods, still managed to forge a bond of friendship between our two races. While action diplomatic negotiations are still impossible until we figure out a way to properly communicate with them, we can at least count on the Scorpion-People not to treat us with hostility.

Quest Start

You are Mikage Chiba, second year high school student, fifteen years old. You used to be the third woman to carry the mantle of the magical guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon, after your mother and older sister. A year and a half ago you had a traumatic experience fighting the corpse of the father of your best friend, struggled victory leaving you thinking you had killed the man you had set out to save and prompting you to abandon your heritage. More than that, the relating emotional collapse lead you to abandoning yourself. Developing disguises and personas to inhabit and do the things you could not in secret, to live while you let yourself wither, you carried on.

And so, when strange evil again fell upon your city and your world, your younger sister rose as Sailor New Moon in your stead. However, despite your misgivings about magic and being a magical girl...you eventually rose to try and help your younger sister and the girls awakening to their own powers as her guardian court in secret.

In helping them you have gone to great lengths and made great strides in your own efforts to put yourself back together, mend the relationships you broke when you withdrew from friends and family, and to live.

By actions related to all three of those notions you find yourself tonight attending the show headlined by a band lead by one of your classmates. In part to rebuild your awareness of him and he you, in part because the two of you had been on the verge of something before you shut down. Things are, complicated now. Even though you made a move on your feelings. They are complicated.

Your feelings for him, Yoshi Sakurada. His feelings for you. Your feelings for your best friend, Kairi Osaka. Her feelings for you.

No one likes burn players, they're gay and retarded. The only acceptable reason to play burn is if you're going to a tournament and to think it will be a good meta for it. First off let me just say right now I have never lost to any burn or RDW, in any format, as it's a shit deck and I've never been bested by the huge retard that it takes to pilot it. Sometimes I ask myself that question. How can you go to Fnm after Fnm, playing that same retarded burn deck you've been playing for months. It's disgusting, you fat sweaty swine, kill yourself.
Also what are you guys playing, brewing, purchasing, all that stuff you know.
Also anything from SOI peak your interest?
